“We hired Steven to take our rough plans and make them into blueprints for a future home. He was very professional and easy to work with. He made our ideas come alive on paper. When wanting to provide more floor space in the master bedroom for our ailing parents, he worked with us to find practical solutions that made the space functional and inviting. We wanted to have wheel chair accessibility in the home and Steven helped us plan ramps and other accessible areas in our home. He was patient with us when we were deciding on ideas. Steven was someone who we would work with again if given the opportunity and his efficiency is very commendable.”

“Mark was the perfect partner in a major renovation of our home. Built in 1936 with wonderful detail, the house was sold as a teardown. Mark was able to take our vision of how our family lives, entertains and incorporate 2 additions which most people are hard pressed to tell old from new. Unlike many architects, Mark was involved from the start (plans) to house construction completion. He worked with our contractor (and the landscaper) throughout and was an amazing resource in tweaking details to achieve best possible outcomes. He was our best advocate and gave us perspective and advice from budgets to decorating! To this day, people stop our family to tell us how amazing our house transformation has been.”

“I hired Darla for my kitchen design in 2011. It turned out amazing! She is very creative and respects a budget. I was so happy with her services that when it was time to gut our bathroom, Darla was the first person that I called. For that project, and for the remodeling of our family room, Darla acted as designer and contractor. Again, we were very happy with her services. She is professional, reliable and gets the project done on time and on budget. If you are not satisfied with something, she fixes it. She is a delight to work with and I have referred her to many of my friends.”

“After raising our family in a traditional four-bedroom two-story home, my wife and I wanted to downsize into a ranch home in our same neighborhood. The home we purchased was a 1970’s era three-bedroom ranch with “good bones,” but badly in need of updating. We brought Jeremy in from the Onward Design Collaborative even before we closed on the purchase to share our ideas and get his input. In short Jeremy incorporated all the items on our “wish list” in his design, opening up the living area, adding master suite with a walk-in closet and transforming a sunroom from an added-on porch. His detailed drawings were accurate, and he worked well with our general contractor. The results were fantastic and on-budget. We love our completely remodeled ranch “forever” home. Steve was very open, honest and helped us learn about the process, not just provide us with a service for a fee and we move on (like many architects and builders do). Steve did not build our home, but kept in touch with us during the construction process, and still takes the time to keep in touch, over 8 years later! Steve has evolved his business into not only design architecture, but now design and build. I personally take making recommendations very seriously, as my reputation is on the line when I recommend someone. “Leslie was introduced to us through out cabinetmaker. She coordinated our entire kitchen renovation in 2011 and is helping us to do a makeover on our family room now, including a partial renovation of two bathrooms. Leslie has a way of helping a homeowner make good design decisions. She suggests, but never insists. She deftly steers the homeowner away from some items and provides rationale for going in a different direction, all with a sense of humor. One of the most important things Leslie brings to the table is her stable of tradespeople. Those who want to work with Leslie, and get repeat business, know that their work has to be right the first time. Leslie's contractors respect the home and clean up after themselves. When we discovered a plumbing problem during the kitchen renovation (which was not related to the renovation, but a coincidence) on a Sunday afternoon, Leslie had the plumber out on Monday morning! Leslie is always thinking about the project at hand and how she can keep things moving along. She has great ideas and suggestions, and can redirect a project if some items come in over budget. For all these reasons, we're having Leslie back this year and will likely involve her for any future renovations.”
