“Last year we purchased a lake home on a narrow lot with a very steep slope. The home's parking was restricted to the basement level requiring navigation of 10 uncovered steps to enter the home. Brent Hunter designed us a beautiful and ingenious addition that allows covered parking and level entrance into our home. The design also allows for older or handicapped guests to easily visit our home . We just love the addition as it allows us to now enjoy our dream lake home well into our twilight years. “Jeremy Gill completely gutted our 70's style kitchen and replaced it with an updated, unique design. His mastery of wood created a warm, invititing, functional space that is now my favorite room in the house. We were worried that there would not be room for all the things stored in the two large pantries, but his innovative cabinet design more than made up for it while creating an open feeling. The finish on the cabinets makes the character of the wood stand out, and his attention to detail is outstanding. Anyone wanting something more than the standard fare from big box stores at a reasonable price should seriously consider Gill Design.”

“What makes a good architect? Rather a long list of attributes: a desire to understand the client; a depth of knowledge in how one's wishes might be fulfilled; a willingness to consider details of structure and finish; an awareness of costs; lots of hard work in planning and refining the design; on-site supervision of what is built. Through all of these stages of a project, there needs to be a continued passion for the eventual quality of life inside that bedroom, bathroom, studio, patio, entry.... And I might add a willingness to restrain the client from making decisions that will later be regretted - a well cultivated sense of what is good design - and what is not. In that regard, pretty much what one wants from a physician (which I happen to be). In all of this, I can hardly imagine being better served than we have been. We have no hesitation to recommend Patrick A. DuBuisson.”
