“Be assured that you will be in excellent hands with Stacy at SKM Design. We can not recommend her highly enough! We did not use an architect or designer for our previous 2 renovations and I wish we had known Stacy then. We literally have no regrets with the layout or design choices in our current house. We have a 1920’s traditional colonial and she was excellent at marrying the character of our older home with today’s modern amenities. She leaves no stone unturned, keeps her eyes on the budget, works quickly, is a task master and will come up with a design plan that fits your lifestyle and budget. Stacy will also help you refine or identify your aesthetic if you don’t already have one. For our renovation, she facilitated the bidding process and managed our project every step of the way. She was able to recommend 3 builders for the bidding and a slew of tradespeople. She‘s also a joy to work with and an outstanding human being- you will love having her around.”

“"Cheryl Newton Architect LLC was wonderful to work with. Cheryl is very professional, creative, caring, and intuitive. She quickly realized our likes and dislikes and was very open to our ideas, suggestions, and working together with us to design our dream home. We had a very challenging lot on a lake and Cheryl worked together with the town, our civil engineer, and our landscaper to make the most of the space we had. “Robert was a professor, a mentor and now also a collegue at this point. From the fundamentals of design and basic drafting and free hand drawing to learning to think like an archtiect, Robert was there for both Marvin and I throughout our educations and beyond. A true artist, everything from a handwritten note left on your desk to the framed pieces of his work we showcase in our own office are works of art. He clearly left an impression on us when it comes to paying attention to the details even if it is just your handwriting on a post-it. The other thing Robert instilled in us is the importance of listening without judgement. He was and is always willing to just sit in listen to your ideas and dilemas. This gift is clear when you review his portfolio. He is listening to his clients and solving the problem. We recommend Robert without reservation.”
