James has done 2 major remodel jobs for us over the past 8 years and both have turned over quite well. We started with a 1700 square foot log cabin on Lake Austin (which was cute but small). He designed a 1700 square foot plus 2 car garage addition for us. We didn't want to add logs so he incorporated the stone design we had with some wood accent pieces to make the project blend. We recently did a major kitchen remodel. He recommended moving the refrigerator (with other things) and enlarging and opening up the kitchen by including and enclosing our front porch. It is absolutely stunning. Everyone that walks in can not believe it is the same house. It's my dream kitchen. The last, very important thing, is that James ask you what you want to accomplish and how do you live. He doesn't try to force his ideas on you but listens to what works for you. He is very easy to work with. I would highly recommend him and will use him again if and when the need arises.
