“John Robinson and his staff designed two homes for me that I constructed in Wilmington, NC. I selected the plans from his website but asked for several changes. It was extremely easy to work with the company via email and phone. They drew up revisions in three options and let me select the one I liked most. When the building plans were completed and delivered, my contractor said that they were the most detailed and best plans he had worked with. I highly recommend this design firm!!!! HOUZZ limits me to listing one project. I moved into my first Robinson home in August 2002 and the second one in about February 2006. The amount listed indicates the cost for the design services, not the actual cost of construction.”

“Our house was built in 1975 and we bought the house in 1996. At that time the house needed reno's badly but due to unforeseen circumstances we were unable to do the reno's until 2016. Our contractor advised us that we would need to have an architect draw up some plans for us before starting. This was a tough decision because we wanted someone who would listen to us, but also have vision of what would be best for us not only now, but that in years to come the house will still meet our needs. What started out as an idea for an addition became a reno for the whole house including new electrical and mechanical. Bonnie was accommodating and worked our meeting around my shift-work. She listened to what our needs were for now and in the future for a house. Bonnie was very professional and supportive along the way with picture updates that we had sent her. If we ever had to do this again, but of course we won't have to now with all the updates to the home, we would definitely call Bonnie for her assistance with such a big project.”

“Urban Builders worked with us to remodel our 1950's home. We didn't have a predetermined design idea for our remodel and Jon's knowledge, experience and design support has resulted in custom mill work cabinets in our kitchen, bathroom, hall and bedrooms, maximizing storage while keeping our design clean and modern. This is in addition to flooring and custom tile work. Jon has an extensive network and relationship with many trades ensuring that any work we needed outsourced was done on time and executed correctly. The work has exceed our expectations, we enjoy working with Jon and Urban Builders Inc.”
