“In 2015, Lake Living Consultants made my lifetime dream come true - a home built on my family property in Shapleigh, Maine. Tucked in the corner of a field provides the perfect setting to watch wildlife of all kinds, stars at night and catch the breeze as it blows through our open living space! From the first meeting to our last, Tyler and Scott provided wonderful services. From Scott's gift with design to Tyler's natural talent with color and everything that looks great, we were more than pleased. All permits and inspections were done by them which made for a smooth process. The father and son team took a great interest in the project from the start as was evident in deciding the perfect placement of the building. Their attention to detail, use of the best sub contractors and materials made for a great experience! I was particularly impressed with how efficient Tyler was in returning calls, always there to answer a question and help make decisions on everything! They were very flexible in allowing us to interject ideas as we went through the building process. It was wonderful to watch Tyler, whom I've known since he was a little boy, take the lead in the building of our home in such a professional, caring manner. His talents as a designer and hands on builder are remarkable. His versatility in his abilities to design and build traditional homes as well as more modern-style homes of every size is impressive. I am convinced he can do anything! I found Dave to be patient, kind and trustworthy. He was always willing to hear design ideas and take things out of the box when I wanted to while keeping me within the box when I needed to. He only uses respectful and skillful crew memebers that appear to be loyal to him and admired by them.. “As a real estate professional, it isn’t uncommon to walk through a property that you wish was yours... This is exactly what happened to me the day I walked through one of Brush and Hammer Builders spec homes in Portland, Maine. I quickly brought my husband back, and with little convincing we quickly signed a contract to hire them as our builders to make this dream a reality. One of the first things that stood out to me about Anthony and Adam was their attention to detail and passion for their craft. I was completely floored by their selection of finishes, carpentry and ability to work with you to ensure they were creating the space you envisioned. In my case... this was an open kitchen design with lots of storage, and a walk-in butlers pantry with a counter top and floating shelving. While my husband didn’t think it could happen, they proved otherwise, and have created a space for me with beautiful, high quality cabinetry, custom navy island end panels, and the pantry exactly as I imagined. Anthony and Adam have experience in design, are organized, wonderful communicators, and have a fantastic process that results in an incredible product. “Mccleary Building is very professional and knowledgeable contractor. I now have 2 houses built by Matt on the ocean and they are holding up very well. One of them he had built and we bought it after it was completed and the other we built from scratch with Matt. I know on both houses Matt would stand behind any issues we would have but the good news is that in 6 years we have had no issues. The second house had a lot of unusual design issues to deal with and Matt was able to easily work through all of them. If your looking for a great builder and nice people to work with this is the company to go with.”
