“Mike's work is second to none. He rebuilt my home's deck and exceeded my wife's and my expectations by far. His work is meticulous, taking obvious care in every detail from start to finish. We found him to be extremely consistent and always on time. Pricing wise; We were relieved to finally work with a contractor who was helping us actually 'save' versus 'spend', by offering creative solutions that provided us with a much better end result and well within budget. “I had my old wooden deck replaced with a much larger one made of Trex, and chose Katz contracting not because they were the lowest cost of any contractor, but because they were the lowest cost of the contractors we thought were the most reputable and professional. It was an excellent decision on our part. The quality of workmanship, co-operation and professionalism from Mark, Percy and their team was exceptional, they always came when they said they would and worked hard all the time they were there. They were very aware that they were working right outside windows and doors when my family was inside and seemed to make an effort to keep their eyes on the job and not look inside the house, which was quite comforting to my wife in particular. I really got to trust and like these guys. Morris Katz, the owner, had great follow up. I don't have much tolerance for poor customer service and it was great to see a building contractor so customer focused. Having an Engineering background I am quite detail oriented and I like to know exactly what is going to happen before it does, and Morris was great at discussing exactly what I wanted throughout the project and making the result match my expectations. My new deck looks fantastic, and I would have no hesitation at all recommending this company for similar projects.”

“About a year ago, I ordered a 28 ft. awning from DIY. I had been redirected there from Eclipse Awnings because they had no dealer in my area. The ordering process was easy, the service was first rate, everything was on time and as promised, and the awning itself is perfect. Do be advised that this is a truck delivery to the curb. You are responsible for getting it onto the property. This can be a problem when the box is 32' long and weighs 309 lbs. Just a heads up so you can have your furniture dollies ready.”

“I hired S Scott Construction to remove an existing deck and build a treated pine deck. The deck was the talk of my neighborhood. The lumber was top quality. The workmanship by Eric was fantastic. It took Eric only 3 days to complete. The manager checked with my town to see if I needed any permits. They designed a new staircase. After Eric completed the deck all leftover materials were removed and any nails on the ground were raked away. I am so happy with my new deck. They went above and beyond to make my deck a showplace in the neighborhood.”
