THEN, they went and did a GREAT job on our kitchen renovation... Here's what we had them do: - Open up a wall between our living room and kitchen - Oak threshold install (between living room and kitchen) - New ceiling in the kitchen - Light drywall repair - Light fixture installs (chandelier, pendants and recessed lighting) - New light switch w/ dimmer for pendants - Dimmer switches on existing light switches - Light carpentry work for cabinet molding - Touch up painting I highly recommend LDC for your home project!”

“I’m really thankful I found the team at GHIR Construction. I have never been a do-it-yourself person – I’m just not that talented or so inclined. When asked if I wanted to pick out my own colors/cabinets/countertops - I replied I’d rather be at the beach! Last time a vendor asked me to pick out my choices/colors – it was 5+ years ago and they are still waiting! I realized I was in trouble when I stood in a store for an hour going in circles and ending up with nothing chosen. When I was shopping around for a remodeler this go-around, GHIR asked if I wanted to work with one of the design consultants – I leaped at that choice! Their design consultant looked at my outdated kitchen (22-year-old space) and postage stamp size living room and offered me choices of design changes, plus he narrowed down the color/cabinet choices! (I did not have to go to a store and search, he brought them to me to look at). They listened to what I needed and presented me with solutions. Now I have a very beautiful kitchen, bathrooms and functional space throughout the main area that flows. These guys are awesome, the end results were much more than I expected. GHIR Construction took my house from a basic subdivision home to a custom elegant home plus added functionality.”

“We were fortunate enough to be selected by Elbow Room for a room renovation in 2013. We had existing attic stairs in our 1950's cottage style ranch home that led to an attic that we used for storage. It had no air, carpet and had not really seen much love ever. Chip Wade and his crew had their work cut out for them! They decided they were going to turn our old, musty attic into a master bedroom retreat, since the cottage style home we had was not able to sustain our two adult, two kids, 1 dog and five fish.... We were living in a 3 bedroom , 1 working bathroom on the main level of our home. We could not see the vision for our attic to be a retreat of any kind, but not to worry...Chip Wade has some serious vision! A luxury retreat is actually the perfect word to describe our room. Every time I walk up those attic stairs I know I can retreat to a calm, serene room, and it still takes my breath away. Chip decided to use an open floor plan concept and give us a bedroom that faces an open master bath with a bathtub that you can view from the bed as well as an open shower which is also able to be seen from the bed. He had an artist come in and hand paint a mural over the bed and used perfect serene colors that pulls the whole room together . There is also a small sitting area in the room and perfect nook for my computer (where I can have my coffee) after a restful nights sleep. One of the main things they did that was a huge undertaking was to raise the roof of our home and give us vaulted ceilings. This is one of the main characteristics of the room which allows it to feel so spacious and open, so different from the rest of our home. Another great feature Chip added was to place a wall of windows all along the wall facing the backyard. These windows provide magnificent light (rain or shine) sometimes I actually love being in the room even more when it rains, it feels so cozy and almost magical! I could not have asked for a more perfect room. I will never tire of it and I am thankful everyday for Chip Wade and his outstanding team. Their attention to detail was spot on. Whenever we have guests over and show off our room , there is no denying that this room was created by a top notch designer and his team. We are eternally grateful to Chip and we actually wish he would come back and help us with our basement (now that our kids are almost teens, they want a dream room as well) I always say, " you never know, its worth a try! " Certainly anyone who is lucky enough to have a room designed and renovated by Chip will get their dream fulfilled, I know we sure did!!!!”
