“Cutting Edge designed and built our basement remodel. They started with unfinished space and re-engineered load bearing walls to open it up. We now how have a wet bar, built in TV wall and shelving, a full bath, a wine closet, and space for an air hockey table. In addition, they replaced countertops in our kitchen and replaced our master bath shower. The end result is absolutely beautiful. The workmanship is top notch. As is typical with this type of project, we had some scheduling delays and minor cost overruns, but we are very happy with the finished project.”

“I had about a third of my basement, about 550 sq. ft., completed using the Matrix Basement System. This r-18 rated, water proof, mold proof, mildew proof system (4' by 8' panels) was perfect for protecting my investment. They also did my drop ceiling, all electrical, hvac work and installed the three doors we added. The total process took about 4 weeks. The work crew was very professional. They worked with me in coordinating the parts of this project that I had other contractors complete and made the whole experience very enjoyable. My completed basement blends in with the rest of my house. The insulated panels keeps the humidity down and the temperatures at the same level as my upstairs level. I love it.”

“We are delighted with the addition and improvements Steve Norman of MasterWorks Fine Home Renovations made to our home. We had the basic ideas about what we wanted to do which we reviewed with Steve. He worked with us to further develop our ideas, then provided architectural renderings of what we had collaborated on. After making a few minor tweaks we finalized the designs (as there were three separate aspects to our home redo ) and budgets. “We had a small master bathroom with a huge jet tub, one sink, toilet and small shower. Hickory Builders came up with a design that made the bathroom feel twice as big with everything we wanted. By taking one of the linen closets on the other side of the wall and removing the unused jet tub, they were able to not only make a large shower my husband wanted, but also put in a double sink, claw foot tub and a beautiful cabinet with a lot of storage. The transformation is amazing and a pleasure to be in whether in the tub soaking in a nice soothing hot bath or showering with lots of room. The cabinetry is custom built and the quality is second to none. They are professional, clean and go above and beyond! We also had the kitchen done a few years earlier and also an outstanding job, that's why we had them back. I would trust them with any project large or small, their attention to detail from start to finish is great, on scheduling to picking out fixtures and guiding with great suggestions.”

“We contracted The Johnson Group to build our cottage on a small lake. Before selecting them we spoke with numerous other builders and considered contracting it ourselves.
