“I first saw Jake Blok’s work at the 2016 Ann Arbor Art Fair, and knew right away he was the wood artisan I had been looking for for an entrance hall table. In the end, I ordered a large and a small entrance table, and Jake designed them for me, from size and materials specifications I wanted. I thought he listened well to my likes and needs and then made design suggestions in drawings that helped gel my thoughts. He also was good about suggesting things I may not have thought of and we incorporated those (like having a contrasting wood piece at one point). He was very patient and indeed interested in going through a number of drawings and changes until we came up with something I loved. Then he kept me informed during the time he was making them, sending pictures or samples of what the tables or their finish would look like. So, I was able to comment when I wanted something darker, and he did that. He was also timely in his work and delivery. Not only did I like the design and manufacture process, but I thought the quality of his workmanship was outstanding. It’s hard for me to detail what is right about something, but I can always see the flaws, and there are no flaws in his work. Jake is both a craftsman and an artist. I would definitely engage him again for a custom-designed wood working piece!”

“Design Details is a great store. I ordered a sectional last year which I love and recently went back to order some end tables. The staff is very friendly and helpful. “I have bought furniture from Naturally Wood on two different occasions. They let me browse the store without feeling pressured or bothered. The salesman answered all questions with knowledge of the product. He then left us alone to make our decision. When we decided, we went and got him and he made all of the arrangements to have the delivery made. The two young men that delivered our furniture were very polite and professional. They did a great job and did it quickly. The quality of furniture is why I have bought furniture at Naturally Wood. Very happy both times I bought from them.”
