“Ok, so I went to the Las Vegas Cowboy Christmas convention, looking for a new bedroom set. After wandering through the aisles I saw some furniture I liked, but it wasn't made with the quality wood I wanted. Lo and behold, the next aisle I visited was Mountain High Furniture. I originally just bought decorative candle holders, but went back after thinking how friendly and helpful they were. As a family-owned business, John Powers makes all the furniture. He and his wife Wendy, sat me down and asked what I was looking for. I described my perfect headboard and bed, and John drew it up on the spot! Wendy helped with selections of embossed leather and stains. Needless to say, I ended up purchasing a bed, nightstands, and two dressers on the spot. John admitted he had never made an 8 foot headboard with a whole hide before, but after seeing his portfolio, I knew he could do it!. John gave me a time frame when I should have my order before I left. Wendy stayed in contact with me, giving me updates on the progress of my order. I decided to add a bench and cowhide pillows after I visiting their website. Wendy personally chose a great cowhide that would become the focal point of the bench. Can you believe, instead of shipping the items to me, he drove from Colorado to Cherry Valley, California.and personally delivered and set up the whole room! Now, not only is he an artist and craftsman, but a wonderful businessman that always gives you a "Personal Touch". Now, I only wish I met John and Wendy before I had my dining room table and chairs made....there is no comparison in the workmanship.
