“I contacted TDE for a home improvement project that I am planning. The owner, Tom Edge, came out himself within a week and talked with me about my plans. He was very professional in his appearance as well as his willingness to listen to me before making any suggestions. He made sure that he understood exactly what I wanted. After looking at the space and measuring he once again took time to discuss my lifestyle and what I was intending the space to do for improving it. Tom was very direct in his questions making sure that I understood what I was talking about and that he knew exactly what I was expecting. After his visit he said that he would go back to the office and draw up the plan. Within a week I received his plan with the material and labor cost broken down so that it was very easy to read and understand. Even though this project was not done at that time I do plan to hire his company for the work when I am ready. Tom knew that I was not going to do the project immediately but he still took a lot of time with me working out the details. He showed me better ways that would improve my idea as well as save me money and make better use of the space. My project is to push the front wall of my house out another six feet. Moving the front door to another area allowing room for a front closet for coats, adding windows allowing more light in and increasing the insulation making it more energy efficient saving me money. I was replacing the carpet in the living room floor and the laminate flooring in the dining room with a higher quality wood floor with a piece of stone in front of the fireplace which would be framed out. There is another half wall which would be removed allowing the area to become more open giving my family a great family room. I have no pictures at this time since the project has not been done. If pictures of the area to be done will help please contact me and I can supply them. I cannot say enough about TDE's attention to detail and professionalism from the owner down to the workers. All of them were clean, neat”
