“Silver Creek Construction came out to my house in New Liberty Iowa to repair some water damage. Its an old farm house and years of neglect had left its exterior cedar siding in disrepair. Josh did an exellent job. He was here on time and each day I could clearly see progress. He was able to source exactly the right replacement lumber. When the job called for more reapirs in some places he made sure he contacted me first to make sure I was aware what had to be done and why. I liked him and his professionalism so much that I immediately referred him to my mother. He consistently goes the extra mile to ensure that his work will stand the test of time. “There knowledge, craftsmanship and professionalism is beyond excellent. It is refreshing to find an honest, homegrown family business where the actual family members work to as all too many companies like to do. Tom offered us estimates in both formats: by the hour or as a complete bid..NOBODY else would do that , or if they attempted to, they kept saying " ...and up, as unknown things are discovered!" In other words, "I WILL find a reason to bill you more!". Tom came right gether on ALL aspects of the project. The father, Tom, was invaluable to us at figuring estimates and finding us the best deals on quality windows, siding, roofing and they even are licensed plumbers and electricians so there was no 'extra' cost for other professionals: thousands of dollars saved right upfront! The men arrived on time, well-equipped and with the necessary tools and supplies so there was no 'down time' while they ran 'out and about' on OUR TIME, as so many others do! Tom gave us the option of having an all-inclusive bid or hiring them by the hour, which ever we chose. He addressed any possible problems they might find in existing walls, wiring or plumbing and stated the cost included up front, all of the other contractors we consulted simply said, "we'll deal with that when it comes up!"...Not "IF" problems come up, but 'when!" Just another way to let me know that there job cost WILL go up and I'll be paying them MORE than negotiated! The Schueller's also showed me ways that worked on other projects and had some excellent insight into what I might like, saving my wife and I LOTS of battles, as you know can happen! I can not state how much of a pleasure it was to work with this company, seriously...I recommend them to everyone. I have never heard of one complaint they have ever received and I believe that they have been in business over 20 years. Pete is the absolute best in drywall no comparison to anyone and Ben can come up with the most innovative ways to incorporate convemiences in to a home like I have never seen. Even Tom's wife, Melody, is polite on the phone and has great decorating ideas: no charge. Thse guys could make mega bucks in a large metro area yet choose to remain in their hometown . I am impressed and 5 stars are not enough for these guys. It is actually fun to be around then as they get along so well, whistling and playful banter. Oh, and my wife keeps reminding me that they leave the worksite clean EVERY day when they leave and when they were done, they even cleaned the windows. There Mom must've trained then right. Nothing a woman HATES more is having to clean up after a mess that the crew left,! These guys are a pleasure to do busness with. Check them out. Tom may Call him and see what I mean.
