He's SMART and thoughtful and also he's got great taste. I trusted his sensibilities. He was also easy to LIVE with, which is, essentially, what happens during a home renovation. From the plan's design through to the completion of the build, Dave and his team were professional, responsive, enthusiastic and trust-worthy. We really felt like we were true partners. Foremost uses Buildertrend, which is a project management tool, and we found this system to be quite valuable; daily progress reports and pictures were uploaded, messages were exchanged, and invoices were easily delivered and paid using this system. The space is both beautiful and functional, and we would highly recommend Foremost Builders.”

“We have employed CDN for 2 renovations on our VT ski condo. The first was after we purchased and involved a large scale reno. The second was smaller but required Carm to take over a job that was initially started by another contractor (CDN was not available initially). This contractor was a nightmare. For both jobs, Carm was the ultimate professional. He helped in planning and design, asking the right questions and providing great insight. His work was meticulous and detailed, with great communication throughout each project. He even helped me move the furniture! He was on time and was respectful of our needs and wishes. He finished both jobs clean and ready for use. Our satisfaction was off the charts!”

“Steve Sorrell did a complete redesign of our kitchen, which involved gutting three rooms to expand a tiny kitchen, changes to windows and floor leveling. He installed new Maple floors, Cherry cabinets, and granite countertops and it is GORGEOUS! Steve handled the design through the execution, supervising everything. Steve and his crew are fast, clean, conscientious and courteous and really know their stuff. Extremely reliable as well. We've also had him redo the drainage system at the back of the house, and again, it was a flawless project. He had to remove the old deck, excavate the yard, build part of a foundation wall, install new drainage, regrade the yard and build a new deck. I am never worried how a project will turn out when Steve is in charge, it will be perfect.”

“Luke and his crew built a timber frame boathouse for our family in 2015. Unlike GMTF's usual body of work, this project was new construction using hemlock and oak harvested from the site. From our rough pencil sketch drawing Luke developed the frame design, gave us a cut list for the sawyer and saw the project through to the end. Luke's communication was excellent, the work was timely and the pictures tell the rest of the story. This is some incredible joinery! Thank you GMTF!”
