“Needing a contractor for my seriously outdated victorian semi I found Slon construction online. I am really pleased I did. They levelled and replaced all floors upstairs, installed closets, fitted new windows and opened up an old small and dark kitchen and annex into a fantastic light filled kitchen/ family room opening to back yard through fantastic new European patio doors, They also updated the powder room and entrance hall. Alex is really friendly, super responsive and has great suggestions and high standards and his team were polite, respectful and extremely hard working. The old building threw up quite a few challenges on the way but Alex and team sorted them all perfectly to transform my home. I plan to get them back to refit my basement next year. Highly recommend.”

“I did an entire kitchen and family renovation and I could not have asked for a better contractor the job done by Ernest was a 5 star and above his ideas and suggestions were excellent and his what I would call a perfectionist I would recommend him to anyone who is in need to renovate be it a kitchen or anything else I have been enjoying my kitchen so much snd wish I had done it years ago What I really liked about Ernest is that he does not push you with decision making and he gave us all the time he could to go to several dealers to pick all our flooring, counter tops etc He is definately a contractor that I would highly recommend”

“A knowledgeable and straightforward contractor that knows what he is doing. He was patient and took me through both the technical and design aspects of my kitchen reno, even discouraging me from spending unnecessarily on a few things. Went out of his way to go to bat for me with a retailer that messed up part of my materials order and negotiated a good discount as compensation. The finished product (cabinetry, backsplash, counter top, appliances) looks great and was finished on budget, on time, with no surprises. I also liked that he and crew cleaned up at the end of every day, sweeping up and vacuuming so that our family would not have to move around in a messy environment. I‘m waiting for his schedule to clear up to start new projects on my bathrooms and basement.”
