“DEC installed wood flooring and baseboards throughout my home. Prior to installation the team grinded the concrete floors applied adhesive and poured self leveling throughout the entire ( excluding restrooms) 2700 ft house. Once that process was complete they installed the flooring and baseboards. All work was done very clean with attention to detail. They also addressed my concerns throughout the installation process. The floor has no soft areas or bounce areas due to the self-leveling that was placed prior to installation. Yes self leveling process is pricey however your end result is excellent. I am extremely happy that we went through the correct process. I have spoken with other people that have the same type of flooring and did not do this process and have bounce and soft areas. We are pleased with our final product and are happy with DEC on not cutting any corners on the installation.”

“I worked with Hilary on all the tile projects for our home remodel. She always picked up on my concepts and gave creative suggestions. I had so much fun working with her! Both bathrooms are spectacular. We also did a laundry room backsplash and the kitchen backsplash. I don't like to do what everyone else is doing and Hilary helped bring my ideas to life while still keeping to a reasonable budget. The product selection in the showroom was great... we were able to pull things together and get good visuals in order to make decisions.”

“Dave and his team did an excellent job for us. His great service started with a detailed walk-through of flooring options in San Rafael at the Sunshine office. We opted to match and extend our current floors instead of replacing our floors. Sunshine was the only company able to find a match to our current floors, since we have floors with an antique width from the 1940s. Even so, they had to do a fair amount of custom work on our floors including custom ripping some of the boards to a manual width. The work was all done very well, as well as on time and on budget. We love our new floors. Dave has high integrity, as well as being personable and friendly. I heartily recommend him.”

“Orion resurfaced our garage floor and in doing so transformed a 30 year old cracked-concrete slab into a polished work of art. Everyone who sees our garage floor stops and is taken by its polished appearance. No epoxy here… it’s all about polished aggregate… with slab crakes darkened as if to highlight their journey. “Before moving into our new home, we wanted to replace the flooring in the living room, dining room and kitchen, changing the style from a rustic, country look to a clean, modern design. We were also on a tight timeline, because we had already scheduled the movers. And we are picky about design, so it was not an easy task we set for ourselves. We found Interiors and Textiles by searching online for anywhere local that carried a certain brand of flooring. Then we stopped by for a look at all types of flooring -- carpet, vinyl, wood -- wanting something with a designer look. We found the sales team to be very helpful, not at all pushy, and sympathetic to our tastes and time constraints. And we were pleasantly surprised by the selection of wood flooring, and changed our design plan as a result. Interiors and Textiles was able to install the flooring within our timeline. They started just a few days after our purchase, by removing the old imported Italian tile flooring. Then by our move-in date, they had the new floor ready for us to move in, and stopped back a few days later to make sure we were happy and to add the final finishing touches, like the trim. Overall, we were very happy with the product selection, the sales team, the service, the installers and the results. We were able to get flooring that you couldn't find at a big box store or a discount warehouse, and to get it installed quickly. We will stop by again for our next remodeling project.”
