“I was very fearful that the quote that was given for the work would be a ballpark number. I have an older home and there were many challenges for Guthrie to face. As an example the floor under my toilet was in very bad shape. They rebuild and reinforced this area. The plumbing air vent from my washer needed to be rerouted due to the installation of a recessed medicine cabinet. Instead of tearing out 2 walls to redo the vent, an entire wall was shimmed out 1/2 inch. (You could not notice this in the finished bathroom). The finished job was magnificent. The workers were all pleasant and knowledgeable. Guthrie refused to take final payment until I was happy with all their work. There were numerous other problems that caused this job to run at least 3 extra days. Even though it cost Guthrie a lot more, he stood by his original quote. Since then I have had them install a hardwood floor, entrance door, and replacement windows. I could not be happier with this company.”
