This was a tough job on an older house. What's important is how a contractor deals with the client when unanticipated problems arise. Throughout this project, Nazar and his team worked with us to overcome each obstacle in a way that was fair for both sides. Eugene and his team were very conscientious, working carefully and cleanly, and unilaterally doing helpful things like cleaning up after other subs, organizing materials on the project and leaving the house clean at the end of each day. Their attention to detail is important and shows a pride in workmanship often lacking with contractors. NG Floors was in the middle of the pack on price compared to other bids that we received, but delivered a superior result and a great value for the cost, especially when considering that we probably would have paid full markup on the subfloor install with another contractor. “David and his crew are awesome! We purchased a 1920's house with original hardwood floors, which were in pretty bad shape. David's crew ripped up several areas of the floor that were really soft and replaced the subfloor and then replaced the hardwood. He also sealed up a basement entrance. It all looks seamless! The floors are beautiful, exactly what I wanted; a matte finish with no yellow tint. To add to it, he is very responsive and shows up when he says he will and does what he says he will do. His prices are also very competitive. I've worked with a lot of contractors and trades in the last 3 years and there are very few that I would actually recommend to anyone, but David is one of the few.”
