“Greg Clancy came highly recommend to us by my cousin, who's house was built by Greg. My husband and I bought a house in N. Falmouth that was built in 1987 and needed an updated floor plan and design. Greg met with us and immediately saw the long term goal we had for the home and was willing to work with us in stages as we couldn't take it all on at once. He made our difficult decisions easy by presenting scenarios that would help our home work well until we could do the "big renovation". I've always acted as my own general contractor but as we live hours away from Falmouth, knew I needed a general contractor with great sub contractors to get this initial project finished. Greg has treated us like all of his "high-end" clients and I can not say enough about his professionalism, daily text-messages with photos and weekly updates. He even plowed the street in front of our house to clear a clogged street drain that was flooding. I thought I knew a lot about design but he has installed it all, and has given me so many great ideas for "phase II". Greg Clancy is respected by everyone we have met in Falmouth for his expertise, high level of communication and quality of work. He even had my house professionally cleaned when he was finished! We are ready to move in and could not be more pleased with Clancy Construction.”

“Ian has helped us re-do our deck and our basement all for very reasonable pricing and high quality work. He is helpful in choosing materials that are high quality and is open to suggestions on aesthetics, but also gives good advice if you're not sure what you want. We highly recommend him for any type of project. UPDATE: he also just did our front steps and they look beautiful and are safe now. He's definitely helped bring up our property value. He has the pictures posted on this website, recommend you check them out. His coworkers are very professional and make sure to clean up everything when they are done.”

“Rarely do I take the time to write reviews. In this case Moss Hill Builders deserves recognition. My wife and I live in a large, old historic home in Chestnut Hill. We had extensive water damage, from ice dams, in our living room and dining room. Dave Scanlon and Bill More of Moss Hill Builders took on the project and have been nothing but professional. The have completed each phase of the restoration on time and on budget. The have restored and modernized these two room while at the same time keeping the historic architecture of the home. “For our project, my wife and I wanted to build a house that "fit in" on a street full of charming 19th century New England style homes. Eric Gilmore, president of Gilmore Building Company, a custom home builder in central MA, worked with us and his architect associates to develop a concept that combined our custom floor plan goals with traditional architecture using the Greek Revival style prevalent on the street to build a "new old home". To complete the look, Eric custom designed many of the exterior and interior trim and molding patterns himself. The exterior design turned out to be so authentic that at one point later in the construction phase, an acquaintance that didn't know we were doing this house project remarked to me as we drove past the construction site, "Aw, isn't it nice that someone is restoring that beautiful old house?" ... but it was this new house: goal exceeded! This was our first custom home, so we were looking for a low risk, low stress process. One option available from Gilmore Building Company that matched our needs was to start with a fixed cost design phase that delivers a firm final construction price, detailed drawings, and full part specifications before digging begins. Once all the design goals were realized and the plans were drawn up, construction went smoothly. Weekly on-site meetings helped review progress and answer the "this or that" questions that inevitably come up during the build of a custom home. We are now moved in and enjoying all the hard work that Eric and his team put in to the painstakingly designed, quality built, energy efficient home that has all the features we asked for -- and it fits right into the neighborhood.”
