“JoJo helped me select furniture for my formal living space. There were several things I wanted--a place for books and a desk, as well as seating. I was very happy with the way she helped me divide up the long room. She offered us 3 furniture options, and we picked the one that best matched our style. There was absolutely no pressure, but she did help us move the project forward and saved us time furniture shopping. If we'd tried to do it on our own, it would have taken ages, and we just don't have that kind of time, AND we would have ended up with furniture that would quickly look dated. The look she gave us was midcentury modern, and it goes great with our home. We are extremely happy with the final product and with her reasonable rates. There were no surprise expenses. We understood the costs at every step of the way, and JoJo kept everything within the budget and offered affordable options at every step.”

“I remolded a 1970s house with the help of Ray and his crew. They did an amazing job! Ray walked me through my options, gave me ideas for the remodel, and was there every step of the way. I gutted the floors, demoed walls in the kitchen and master bathroom, and redid the counters and back splash throughout the home. I would highly recommend using Big City Construction for your next project, big or small.”

“Remodeled whole house!! HGI was on time and fast, but took care of the tiniest details. Workman ship on tile and flooring was clean and professional. Resurfaced fireplace from old brick to beautiful new stone! Painting was neat and professional, no sloppy work. Fixtures were replaced and updated. Popcorn ceilings removed, new bathroom counters and fixtures. Design was as good as construction, maybe better. Could not have been happier. Here’s the bottom line - work was professionally done on time and at a cost that was reasonable. I was consulted and communicated with almost daily about progress. None of those horror stories you hear about regarding experience with other contractors not showing up or shabby work. Hire HGI with no worries, the best, ask for Alex.”

“We had a very difficult room to furnish, with odd proportions. Out taste is contemporary, but the house was built in 1923. Beverly was amazing! She quickly solved all our design dilemmas and created a space that we truly love. She is a true talent; able to listen to what clients want, and come up with design that goes beyond expectation. I would recommend her to anyone with large or small design jobs.”

He repaired our ceiling in our entry way due to leaky pipes by sheet rocking and painting the area. He also found a tiny leak in our roof that no one was able to detect. “Jeff and his team were wonderful to work with. We love that the home is energy efficient and overall we had a great experience with Sonderfan. The project stayed on track despite difficulty arising from our bank not funding draws on time and Hurricane Harvey, Jeff didn't miss a beat. The craftsmanship far exceeded our expectations. We made several changes along the way and Jeff catered to our needs without breaking the bank. We would use Sonderfan again.”
