“Candace Nordquist is a Certified Kitchen design professional. She transformed our kitchen, seating area, family room, and entry into beautiful, highly functional, and comfortable spaces. She provided the design, material selection, coordination or purchase of materials, and recommended highly capable subcontractors I used to finish the project. Our waterfront house needed to have the view maintained or enhanced, the materials and colors needed to be capable of intense direct sunlight, and the traffic flow from the kitchen to the deck supported. She reorganized the kitchen placing flat surfaces between the arriving guest and the view. The tall elements were concentrated on the back wall giving a solid welcoming feel. Her 38" high waterfall granite table provides seating to enjoy the view. There are 28 cabinet drawers for storage, and the food prep, cooking, and clean up areas are all well organized. The electrical plan was also an integral part of the overall design. The under cabinet power outlets are especially nice and have minimized wall outlets. The lighting is able to be changed to create a variety of moods as well as provide specific task lighting. It is a pleasure to cook and entertain in this kitchen.”

While staying in budget we were able to add furniture, finishes, and colors that brought everything together. “Shoshi helped us with designing our new house. The house was in overall good condition and move-in-ready, but not to our liking and taste. She helped us pick out and design the fireplace, hand-railing for the staircase, vanity cabinet for the master bathroom, all of the rugs in the house and some of the decorations. We were very content and happy with the final outcome. Shoshi is very professional, patient and hard working, and invested a considerable amount of time and effort to get things just right. She did a great job modernizing the house, which had a very traditional style to it before. We would warmly recommend her to everyone considering to redesign their house.”

“Tammara is a fabulous designer to work with! She listens carefully to your abstract ideas, quickly figures out your style and comes up with the perfect way to implement that style. Tammara has helped us with furniture ideas, a kitchen remodel, window treatments, rugs, cushions, art work, painting, back yard design, etc. She works fast, can be budget-conscious when needed, is easily accessible via email & text, is happy to meet any time, and she passes on her wonderful discounts. “We were introduced to Lighting Designer, Nathanael Washam, by our general contractor. At first, we were not convinced that we needed a designer, but after meeting Nathanael and hearing his ideas for lighting our home, we realized that designing the lighting is not something we could do ourselves. Nathanael was good at figuring out our lighting needs based on how we would use individual rooms and he drew a detailed lighting diagram that was invaluable to our electrician. Throughout the process, Nathanael was courteous and friendly. We are very happy with the results and would recommend his services to anyone building or remodeling.”
