“I'm so excited to see my favourite designer now listed as a Pro on my favourite design website. Jan's work is impeccable. She took a very plain rental place and turned it into a welcoming place of warmth and sophistication. I couldn't be more proud of the space and loved bringing friends and family in to enjoy it with me. My favourite space was the guest powder room... I didn't know it was even possible to make a powder room beautiful. But my favourite part of the overall designer experience would be the memories that were made around the kitchen enjoying feasts with friends and family which would never have happened without Jan's ability to create a beautiful family space. I'm forever grateful and I have no hesitation in recommending Mondan & Co.”

“Maddie recently helped us with our basement renovation. She listened to our wants, asked questions and then presented us with a beautiful, creative design. She picked paint the colours, flooring options, storage solutions and and really brought everything together at the end. Her constant presence onsite as a project manager made the entire experience really enjoyable. We couldn’t have done it on our own. Highly recommend!”

“Saree was delightful to work with. She designed window treatments for our living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom that we are extremely pleased to have. Saree's friendly, engaging personality made it easy for me to express my thoughts. She listened to my ideas and concerns and considered them in each of her design options. Saree was able to incorporate existing colours and designs in our home with the new treatments to the point that some of our artwork came alive. She was most professional and managed the installation of the treatments very well. My husband and I will definitely contact Saree for future home design projects.”

“Eye 4 Detail completely transformed my 1960's kitchen to what it is today: beautiful, bright, functional and easy to maintain, exactly what I asked for. With Deborah's easy going personality and her professionalism, she listened to my ideas and suggested her design, colour, fabric, etc. and created something I never imagined. Deborah saved me a lot of time and money by knowing exactly where to go in Ottawa for all the different products. I would highly recommend her for any renovation and/or design ideas.”

“Three years ago we moved to Ottawa from BC, at the same time down-sizing from a fairly large home to an urban condo. We needed help to furnish, decorate and generally create a new life-style. Through a recommendation, we contacted Paula-Lyn and she has been the guiding light behind our transition--managing, suggesting, encouraging--always with cheerful good humour and patience. She is extremely knowledgeable and creative as well as practical and sensible. We feel perfectly at home in our new surroundings which exhibit a blend of some old favourite pieces with others newly acquired in a decor that is restful and calm. “In dealing with Saslove Design, I was impressed by the unusually good initiative that they showed the devotion to doing an excellent job, and the accomplishment of the customer goals. No sooner had I put my request on the BARK system, that I received their phone call, this, within a few minutes or so. The owner, who I dealt with, always had my wellbeing in mind. She always answers the phone or is quick to responds whenever that is. Her flexibility is outstanding. As the project develops, and needs are defined more clearly, she will quickly change her direction to align herself with her customers needs; a quick and attentive response is provided, and the ease with which she is dealing with the changes, seems to be a natural for her. For example, one quote was delivered late afternoon, on a Saturday! She will explore more than one solution and give you her comments on all of them. You will never have a surprise invoice. Her work is quoted by the activity and the hour, but she is generous with her time and respects her commitment. I gave her a 4 ½ *. Had she had a bit more business experience, I would have given her a 5*. I recommend her highly.”

“I have hired Urban Spaces on several occasions. She is extremely creative, very professional, and really helped me push the envelope to have spaces that I am super satisfied with. She has high quality tastes but also really knows how to get the most out of a budget. They took the time to sit with us and listen to our concept and then provided an absolutely wonderful design of the space. They worked seamlessly with our contractor and were there for every situation that required attention all the way through the project up to the very end. From overall design, to lighting and all the way to the final touches and details they left no details untouched. We could not have found a better team to work with and continue to be thrilled with how our business continues to glow as a result of their work.”
