“Oat design &build has completed a couple projects for my wife and I, including remodeling to our kitchen and bath. I’m not sure how they do it, but our projects were given a ton of attention and thought well before they began, exceeded our expectations as far as appearance and function. Changing soemthing mid project was not a problem, and again the patience and attention to detail was impressive. Our new go-to consultants and builders. A+ design! Trustworthy and fair... they came back to fix a problem.”

“I've known Cynthia Wilson professionally for many years. In 2006, I hired her to help me stage my home in Lake Forest, Illinois-the real estate market was crashing, and I had an older home that was proving difficult to sell. She combined the furniture that I had with some great purchased pieces and transformed the living room, family room, and library simply by moving things around, adding strategic lighting, and pulling the rooms together. The first people who looked at the home fell in love with it and bought it! That was the only home that sold that year at that price point. Last year my new husband and I moved into a rental property in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. We had to combine our furniture and somehow make it all work. Once again, Cindy came in and worked her magic. By moving things around, she opened up the Great Room so it flowed beautifully. From there, she advised us on a rug and coffee table purchase. We couldn't be happier!”

We downsized and she helped us choose what furniture to keep, what to purchase, and how to make everything look coordinated and new. She listened to my likes and dislikes and when she showed me the design I loved everything she chose. What I also liked is that she took my direction but also suggested ideas outside my comfort zone - I said yes and am thrilled I did! I know we will be happy for many years in the beautiful townhome Angie designed for us.”
