“Karen Hill changed the entire feel of our home, and allowed us to fully utilize our space. We began working with Karen in 2008 when we decided to put in a new kitchen, new flooring and carpeting throughout our home, as well as complete bathroom remodels, and fresh paint and moldings. We were overwhelmed with all the decisions and choices, but Karen made it easy, from making paint color recommendations, to cabinet choices, and carpet and flooring options. She was truly involved in our project every step of the way. Karen has a can-do, positive attitude, and she is enjoyable to work with. Our project went quickly, stayed within budget, and made us fall in love with our home again. We contacted Karen again in 2010 to redecorate our three Bedrooms, Living Room and Family Room. When Karen finished, we felt as though we had stepped into the pages of a magazine! Karen showed us different ways to use our space, and in 2013 created an office area that we enjoy using daily. The improvements Karen suggested raised the value of our home far beyond the cost of the improvements. Karen was easy to work with. She helped us avoid costly mistakes. She listened when we told her how we wanted to use our space and when we described the way we lived. We were happy with every recommendation she made, from colors to contractors, We are delighted to say that our home is now our favorite place to be. It's our pleasure to highly recommend Karen Hill and Hansen and Hill Interiors.”

“Visnja Clayton has transformed numerous homes on both East and West coasts of the US. She has a clear respect for periodicity as well as an ability to bring a wonderfully fresh and contemporary feeling into any home. An Arts and Crafts house in Portland, Oregon that I watched her and and husband lovingly renovate and transform into the jewel of the neighborhood with a perfect shade of emerald green on the outside, and an open concept living room and kitchen-- made the home an even more beautiful residence. Visnja knows how to create both a classic, sophisticated interior, as well as a fresh, contemporary one within the same space. It takes sophistication and a keen understanding of balance to achieve this. I have seen a number of beautiful spaces come alive with her unique approach in design.”
