MD the Design Doctor helped bring the ideas I had of what I wanted my space to look and feel like come to fruition. The flow of my first floor townhouse transitions effortlessly from one section to the next thanks to MD.

MD the Design Doctor did a fabulous job of redesigning my drab 90's bathroom into a timeless, beautiful spa. Not only did he have unique ideas about color and materials, but he also listened to me and guided my ideas into a fabulous end result. Mike didn't rely on standard measurements for heights and widths, but rather had me reach and sit to make sure I would be comfortable in my lovely spa. He expanded my comfort zone on color but I was so happy with the end result and, of course, he was right. When my contractor balked at doing a few things, Mike went to bat for me and made the design happen, to my joy and delight. If you want average, hire someone else. If you want fabulous, hire MD The Design Doctor!! He'll fix your design wounds!

MD the Design Doctor is a true professional! I had some unique 'symptoms': I wanted a pink & green Lilly Pulitzer inspired formal living room/parlor that was elegant, yet also contemporary. It could not look like a teenage girl's bedroom. And, it had to withstand rough treatment from a 5 year old ACTIVE little boy, two big dogs, and two bossy cats. All of this with the budget of a pauper. MD the Design Doctor conducted a very thorough 'examination', noting my likes and dislikes, assessing my current decorating style, and analyzing what existing pieces we could repurpose for this room. He came up with an amazing 'diagnosis' and brought it to life with beautiful sketches for me to approve. Once we jointly approved the 'treatment plan,' he wrote out the 'prescriptions' and went to work curing the ills of my old living room! In about a week, my living room was looking like a million bucks and I was feeling like I needed to throw a party to show off my new magazine-worthy pink and green parlor! MD the Design Doctor worked quickly, stayed on budget, and delivered!! I'd never used a designer before and after this experience - I will never use any other interior designer BUT MD the Design Doctor!

My Doc, MD (Mike Dodson), transformed a spare bedroom into my little boutique/dressing room.( See Channeling Chanel, Coco on MD's project page) With a modest budget, Mike transformed the space into a glam gals gettway for changing and playing. Choosing a Black and White Pallette, IKEA, Flea and Home Good Finds, what was a useless dull space became my dream come true! Mike sketched the idea and upon agreement on budget and time-frame set to work. The project was done both on time an on budget and even though I tend to be a very involved client, I let Mike take over the project and the results are fab!

Mike designed my "Indian" bedroom using Sari's and other commercially available fabrics. He did a great job of giving me an overall concept sketch of the room (copy attached) so that we were on the same page for what we were designing. Then he searched and found all the individual pieces for my approval. It was stored in a specific folder on houzz, which made it super easy to review and approve. He also helped me pick the paint colors. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him and will gladly recommend him to others.

I have had the pleasure of hiring MD The Design Doctor for several projects. This might be the one doctor I don't mind visiting time and time again! Dr. Dodson consistently delivers with flair and care. He understands timeframes and budgets, and works tirelessly to achieve highly creative, functional, and fabulous designs.
