“We hired Vlada to renovate a 1070's bathroom with worn vanity and PINK tile in one of our single family rental houses. The agreement was for him to do all demolition and replace the flooring and walls. In addition, he was to convert a useless hall closet into a useful series of shelves in the new bathroom. The results were spectacular--so much so that we hired him to renovate a second bathroom and to enclose a window and reconstruct part of a wall in another rental house. We then asked him to "spruce up" a third bathroom in a third house and could not believe our eyes when we saw what he accomplished with only a bit of drywall compound, caulking, and paint! It was hard to believe it was the same bathroom. We fear we might working against our best interests in writing this review because we intend to hire Vlada for all future real estate improvements and hope he'll not become so busy he won't have time for all the work we have in our single family rental home business. We are NEW AGAIN HOMES with a BBB rating of A+ which means we can't afford to write exaggerated reviews that would damage our own reputation. you can trust our word when we say Vlada will be the "go to" person for us for so long as we have renovation projects to be done. Our own home will be the next venue on the list of projects for which we intend to hire Vlada. And by the way, he's an exceptionally nice person with quite reasonable rates! He's fast, which is extremely important in our business, and he's also 100% dependable. He comes up with creative solutions to "sticky" problems and turns eyesores into items of beauty! “We contacted Richard to do some ceiling repair work after we had a pipe repaired in the ceiling. He sent one of his contractors to repair the hole in the ceiling and retexture the ceiling. The work was completed in a few days and the texture matched the existing texture so well you could not tell where the hole was. The price was very fair and the contractor was very professional and on time. We will be contacting Ricard to help us remodel our kitchen.”

“Hurst has done two remodels for us. The first was in 2006 and included a complete kitchen remodel including granite countertops, wood floors and all upscale appliances. The wall between the kitchen and dining room was taken out and the dining room was made twice the original size with an addition that included changing the roof line, new beams, tray ceiling with lighted crown molding and bay window with bench seat including storage. The wood floors continued from the kitchen. A bedroom was added on the lower level under the dining room addition. We were and are very happy with the work and especially the workmanship. The attention to detail on the part of all the workman meant the finished dining room addition and kitchen are beautiful to look at and functional and fun to use. Our second project with Hurst was in 2008 when we updated all the bathrooms with beautiful granite, tile, new sinks, faucets and hardware. The shower was torn out completely and rebuilt as a walk-in shower which we love. Grab bars and a perfect shower floor for safety are wonderful and the plumber located the shower controls so that you don't have to step in to the shower to turn it on. Again, we appreciated the leader of the project and all the attention to detail. The young plumber was fantastic! Hurst has done several small outside jobs for us including pouring new entryway steps and adding railings. We are just ready to put our home on the market as we are moving West to be closer to all our grandchildren. We will miss all these wonderful improvements but know they will really add value to our home and make it desireable in the "sea of homes" on the market! We have recommended Hurst to our friends and recently saw a kitchen granite countertop job that our friends are very pleased with and it looks fantastic. My contractor installed it with one other persons help. The ease of walking into the shower with no shower curtain or tub to crawl over is great.
