“Assurance Builders did an outstanding job on our bathroom renovation (it was gutted down to the studs) and the tiling of our kitchen and hallway. They were courteous, punctual, clean, precise in their work with a lot of attention to even small details, like grout lines of tile lining up exactly, rather than approximately. It was amazing to me that the foreman, Eddie, who spent several late evenings preparing the site for subs scheduled to arrive early the next day, was able to frame the bathtub and pony wall so precisely that the 1" mosaic tile ran exactly down along the edge of the pony wall along the outside of the tub (see photo #4). All the mosaic tiles which were on the outside of the tiled area were hand ground to round off their edges, since I did not want to use bulky liners. I wanted the crema marfil countertop to be honed, rather than using the usual polished finish, which they made happen, as well as the custom "driftwood" color of the floating vanity I asked for. Eddie spent hours assembling the access door tile on the front of the tub a second when it didn't look perfect on the first try. I appreciated that Assurance always made time for short meetings to make sure everything was done exactly they way I wanted, be it the extra deep counter top/vanity or the height at which the medicine cabinet was hung. The subcontractors they used were so good that we hired several of them for another project we had later. The renovation was finished on schedule and on budget to our complete satisfaction. We had used Assurance Builders before to replace our windows and install a new front door. When we had them cut 3 windows in our living room and kitchen down to the floor to enlarge the opening and enable us to exit the kitchen and living area to the back yard pool with ease, they had also done the job well. They even repaired the stoop for free before they left, when they saw that it looked rough. We have recommended Assurance Builders to others who have been as impressed as we are. If we have another project we most likely won't even get another bid, even though they're not the cheapest contractors. But the quality of the work is definitely worth the price to us. They made the entire process fun and exciting.”
