“So Cal Builders and Design did a massive remodeling job on my condominium earlier this year in March. The condo was bought by me last year for a really great value, relative to living in L.A. heh, but the problem was it was fairly "worn" from use from the previous tenants who I gathered weren't particularly good neighbors. Regardless, with the great value that So Cal Builders gave me when I called them over to go over the estimate, made it all worth while. I had a limited budget, but they worked with what I had. Regardless of the limitations, they did a fantastic job with the kitchen by adding new cabinets, re-flooring and re-painting the kitchen walls. The living room and the hallway got a brand new coat of paint, and they removed the ugly and stained carpet to replace with laminate flooring. My girlfriend and I wanted them to make sure they paid extra attention to the bathroom and bedroom. So that was where the majority of the work went. Not to mention that the bathroom was a god awful mess that needed a new plumbing job! We replaced the bath tub that was taking so much space with a standing shower, which gave us tons more room, new vanity and lighting. Over all the job was fantastically done!”

“Ktichen renovation. First experience with remodeling. The Hahka team were professional and supportive. Designer Linda Billings was extremely accessible and helpful. Her suggestion to incorporate an island with the character of furniture is the statement piece that adds the "wow" factor to our kitchen. General contractor Randy Hahka very clearly has a personal interest in quality work. He strongly lobbied for the replacement of louvered pantry and laundry doors with doors that more closely matched the new cabinetry-although more costly, this was definitely the right decision from a design perspective. The construction team were skillful, friendly, honest and easy to work with. We did have a few whoopsies, but I understand this is par for the course with renovation projects and at the end, nothing was left unresolved. The team very clearly made great efforts to provide customer satisfaction. Job was not completed on time, mainly due to issues with pantry/laundry doors. Very happy with the results of our project.”

He's also flexible with schedule changes, and although he can get quite booked, he's well worth the wait. I highly recommend him to anyone who's looking for an honest, reliable contractor who knows what they're doing and will deliver on his promises.”

“My kitchen transformed from an 80th kitchen with brown and dated cabinets to a modern chic kitchen with an elegant look in which I wanted to accomplished for awhile. from conceptual stage to completion, I was well attended by the wonderful team and project manager/ designer. At the conceptual stage, I was assitend by the designer for all material selecting and purchasing, color coordinating and other decision making. Throughout the construction I have received daily updates as to what is next, my house kept clean, and all my questions were addressed right away. Now I get to enjoy my beautiful kitchen. “We hired David King Remodeling to perform a major renovation on our home. We changed the location of the kitchen and 3 bedrooms and redid completely the rooms. The experience with David King Remodeling was excellent and above our expectations. At first, Michelle, the designer, gave us several design ideas that we would never thought that we can do them and never would have on our own. She ended up making a plan that far exceeded what we thought we can do for the space. Michelle took the time to understand what we like and what we would like to do and then worked very hard to get many great selections that met our tastes and stayed within the budget. Once again, she had good ideas that we would have never thought of on our own, and which really enhanced the overall project. Yaniv, our project manager, was extremely nice, professional and responsible. He did whatever it took to do this project and to make us happy. David King Remodeling hired great subcontractors and throughout the project, things were always well organized and very orderly and neat. Other than our change orders (not many), they stayed within budget and always communicated when our changes created incremental expense. This is the most major ($150,000 +) remodeling we've complete so far and we had our concerns about doing that remodeling. David King Remodeling was by far the best contractor, designer and workers that we've used. The beauty of having an "all in one" contractor should not be minimized in this case. It was really a flawless and smooth less project even though it included all the complexity. All our friends cannot believe the quality and the end results of the remodeling and the way it complete the house. We are very satisfied customers. I guess the single biggest compliment that I can give is to note that we've just invited David King Remodeling back to help us re-design our outdoor living space!”

“My name is Natalie Abu, at it Always a great experience working with Yari. I remodeled my bathroom 6 months ago and was very happy with the work and quality, now it was time for my kitchen. I have to tell you that Yari know what he is doing, give us great idaers that we didn't think of. The work start on time every day very fast (we finish one week early), his guys clean the job site every day and he is coming every day to make sure every one know what to do.
