She brought color and distinctive design features to both residences. She listened to my needs & was able to incorporate those needs into the design of both homes. Since I had already experienced the flow & design features that Karen incorporated into my 1925 Seattle home, I asked her to peform the same magic with my new residence in Lacey Wa. She more than exceeded my expectations. She was able to add texture, color, & purposeful design features into my new home. There was existing ceramic tile flooring leading into the entry area of the residence & she designed a pony wall that had a bench w/storage on the entry side & storage cabinets & a serving bar on the dining room side which helped to separate the entry from the dining area. She designed a slate stacked wall that was installed between the living room & family room & incorporated a see thru fireplace. She also had french doors installed between the family room & the master bedroom allowing me to see the fireplace & big screen TV that is mounted over the fireplace from my bed. I love my home & feel that her design will withstand the changes of time.”
