“Hannah Hacker of Adapt Design helped us with our kitchen, 3 baths and laundry room update. Our update included, cabinets, floors, counters, sinks, plumbing, lighting and appliances. Hannah really streamlined the process and timeline and the final outcome was great. We were impressed with her professionalism, attention to detail and overall knowledge of the building process and would hire her in a heartbeat if we were to do it all over again. She was a pleasure to work with and the project turned our beautifully.”

“I loved working with Lynnette at Grapevine Design. She has helped me with several projects including adding a large island to my kitchen recently. Her ability to assess your needs by talking about how you utilize space makes her design optimal for your lifestyle. She is especially excellent bout customizing your design to your unique needs. As we worked on the island we talked about how we would be using it and what type of storage and look we wanted and we got it all! After 6 months I am even happier with it that I could have ever imagined. Her design fees are worth every penny I paid and more. I will definitely use her again for any design needs -- next up: remodel the rest of the kitchen & get custom closets! Can't wait!”

“Alan coordinated a rather large remodel project at our home. He gathered great sub contractors and scheduled all of the tasks. Everything was scheduled out and work completed on time and for the most part on budget. We have found that you always plan a little over and there always seems to be something unforeseen. We were very pleased with the work and couldn't be happier with the outcome. We receive great complements on the project. Alan seemed to know the answers to questions, before we had them. He anticipated our needs and was very attentive. We didn't have to worry about a thing while the project moved along. We were always able to count on him as the project was from May until August (we scheduled a 3 week vacation in the middle so work was not done during that time). Overall if you are looking for someone to manage your remodel projects we highly recommend Alan. Nice guy, easy to work with and most importantly, dependable.”

“I cannot say enough good about C Change Design, Chelly Wentworth. We chose Chelly to work with us because she had designed my kitchen several years ago. She was wonderful to work with and came up with the perfect solutions, first for our tiny kitchen and now for a beautiful and very functional kitchen island. We could not be happier and highly recommend her.”
Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR
Handicap-Accessible Design Companies in Five Corners
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsDecember 19, 2011
“Pangaea has worked with my husband and I on many areas of our home including paint color, lighting, window treatments, furniture selection, art selection, and accessories. One of our favorite projects was the redesign of our fireplace wall - we have a whole new look with built-in cabinets, enhanced mantel, hearth, and flush mount of our TV. Pangaea provided us a computer model of the design so we could easily visualize her design and vision for the space. We love it! Pangaea made our redesign process easy. After listening and truly understanding our needs, she brought us options to choose from that met our style goals. She stayed on budget, was on time to our appointments, and coordinated with all of the speciality contractors (electricians, painters, cabinet makers, window treatment installers) on our behalf. She opened our eyes to possiblities we had no idea existed. She made it fun for us and we love the new look and feel to our home. ”

Camian Larson of Zenteriors Design

“My husband and I hired Camian to design a new master suite and utility room for our house as well as a complete remodel of the original kitchen. The planning and design process was collaborative and thorough, and Camian worked with us, the contractor, and the draftsman until we developed a plan that would not only fulfill our need for more space but also make our house into a place where our family could grow and thrive. We were especially impressed by Camian’s willingness to listen to us and her ability to take what she heard and turn it into a part of the plan, a solution to a problem, or even another better idea. Camian not only listens but really hears and was able to translate our words and ideas into a vision of the place where we wanted to live. The contractor she suggested made it a reality. They helped us to stay true to the character of our small old house by truly integrating the new space into the old instead of just slapping on a couple of new rooms. While the new walls are made of drywall, for example, they were plastered to look like the walls of the original house and so the transition from old to new is unnoticeable. The remodeled kitchen that Camian designed has not only opened up the heart of the house but also brings the other rooms together in a new and organic way. The new laundry room is bright and full of functional counters and shelves, and our new master suite is spacious and full of light. Camian planned the new construction while also thinking about the best ways to integrate the new and upgrade the old—such as replacing the old roof while adding extra insulation for energy efficiency, creating skylights for livability, and finally eliminating holes and problems with drainage. We also really appreciated how hard Camian worked to include all the space and details we needed and wanted while still staying within our limited budget. She found the best materials possible and also made room in the budget for custom touches, like the beautiful handmade tiles in our kitchen and bathroom. Camian considered beauty, functionality, and budget on every level, from the floor plan to the colors of paint we chose, and she has an almost uncanny ability to see through what’s in front of her (a tile, a paint chip) to how it will fit into the larger whole. Her sense of style is both impeccable and flexible, and she was always able to channel and work with what my husband and I wanted without imposing her own personal preferences. We love our new house, and I cannot more highly recommend Camian and the work of her company.”
