“My husband is very handy so we knew he could do the work. Problem was we didn’t have a design plan. I decided to call a professional. From the initial phone call, I felt I could work with Becky. She asked lots of pertinent questions, and I scheduled a home consultation. The project was a living room in a 30 year old house which hadn’t been redecorated in 20 years. We have views of a lake, so a nautical theme seemed natural. After much discussion, Becky suggested a “nautical shabby chic decor” complete with chandelier and seashells. She mentioned several architectural changes, such as taking down a 3/4 high wall near the stairs and installing a horizontal window over the fireplace. Just these 2 ideas added much-needed light into the room. We added white faux beams to the ceiling, a warm ash hardwood floor, and gorgeous grey walls (not a color I would have considered until I saw her picture board). What I especially liked was that she also helped me choose some wonderful, inexpensive accent pieces - a 4 foot sailboat on a shelf over our piano, cut glass lamps to enhance the chandelier, and a beautiful golden rug. These were found in consignment stores! We found Becky easy to talk to and she had out-of-the-box ideas! She listened to what we told her. She is an excellent communicator, and doesn’t try to talk you into something you are not comfortable with. Becky was reliable and when she says she will call you, she does. We would definitely recommend her to anyone who is thinking about a design plan. The outcome is a stunning room that we will be able to enjoy for years to come!”

“What a pleasure to work with such a creative, talented, and intuitive kitchen designer like Jennifer Dussault. I bought an old house and the kitchen needed to be renovated completely. It was very small and had five doorways, which made it very challenging to design. Jenn was incredible in the way that she looked at this almost impossible space and found creative ways to make it both beautiful and functional. When I went to the showroom at Carole Kitchen to meet Jenn, I brought a leaf from my dining room table. Jenn immediately found a wood for the cabinets that looked perfect with my table. Within another minute, she found a granite that matched my cabinets beautifully and that was consistent with the look and feel I wanted for my new kitchen. Jenn has great ideas and a wonderful sense of style. I greatly appreciated how intuitive she was in making suggestions that were in tune with my personal taste as well. It was a pleasure to work with such a talented professional like Jenn because, besides being so gifted, she is also a positive, vibrant, thoughtful person.
