“We worked with Alan (Village Landscape Architecture) to help us with a large corner lot front yard after removing all of our lawn. We wanted drought tolerant plantings that would be a benefit to wildlife, but didn't know where to start. We asked Alan to deliver a plan, in the form of drawings, that we could implement ourselves. Alan was easy to communicate with and listened carefully to our parameters. Beyond recommending the placement and varieties of plants, Alan drew a plan that also incorporated an inviting addition to our walkway entrance. We loved his creative additions of hardscape which tied back to our love of Mother Nature's natural landscape. We still love the design today - 4 years later. Alan was easy to work with, a good listener, and provided the deliverable on time. I highly recommend him.”

“I want you to know that I am very happy with the final plant choices. I am not sure how you did it but, some how you were able to decipher what we wanted the end results to be in our yard. Some days I was not sure what we wanted! Our yard is now not only beautiful but, most importantly manageable!!! We no longer have to spend hours weekly trying to maintain the landscape. Instead we now get to spend that time enjoying being outside in our yard. I really appreciate that you were available to check everything after installation and make appropriate substitutions. You are right it was a learning experience for everyone. Thank you for your patience and holding my hand through the process. I enjoyed working with you. I have already sent your information on to several people who have come to look at our yard.”

“We have an extensively landscaped yard that we call a garden, but is really all the exterior space at our home. Julie designed the original garden over a decade ago. When we purchased it, the garden had been neglected and needed refurbishing. Julie returned and gave us a plan that she reviewed with us that had many choices. She also helped engage an excellent landscaper to do the work. The result is a lovely garden with new plants and an excellent blend of the old work and the new work. Julie is creative, very attentive to details, and knows plants and design. She has a terrific eye for color and is a true artist. She is also personable, hands on, and effectively supervised the installation down to the last detail. We were very pleased with her creativity and knowledge, and the personable approach to our garden design.”

“The work done by Patrick and his team at Equinox Landscape brightens every single day of my life. I love the design, almost entirely suggested by Patrick. I love the quality of the materials and the wokrmanship. We had to modify the project a couple of times while in progress: costs went up too fast once we realized how hard it was to do any digging into the hillside. I also realized I wanted more of a finished look in one area than I had previously indicated. A drought set in and I became concerned about water rationing making it impossible to keep all the projected trees alive. A bobcat attacked my chickens and I changed the design for the coop. So it was an adventure, and in the end there were many changes. The end result though, makes me smile every day. Please work closely with the team to make sure the cost does not go over budget, but keep in mind that this is not just about how everything looks, but also how meaningful it is to you in the end.”
