The owner Rich Sr. is a NJ Licensed Landscape Architect and his son Rich Jr. has a masters in Landscape Design. They are leaders of a company that is passionate about creating beautiful landscapes. They have an experienced staff of craftsmen and horticulturalists. Which can tackle any size project and have a range of specialties including : deer resistant plantings, custom stone work, drainage and grading, etc.... We have successfully collaborated on numerous awarding winning projects and I would recommend their work.”

“Little Miracle designs does its name justice. They transformed my dark and unattractive yard into an amazingly beautiful space that has added a new room to my brownstone. A true miracle. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of this company. They work with you closely, they listened to what you want and then they dazzle you with ideas. And this allows every single one of their projects to be unique. They adapt to your aesthetics, but provide you with guidance and options given their vast experience in working with small, and not so small, exterior designs projects in the Tri State NY area. The outcome is truly better than what you expected. The execution is fantastic. They are very detailed oriented and perfectionists. They know how to solve problems fast and in a cost effective way. When we first contacted Little Miracle Designs we had a very small project in mind. But when we sat down with Sasha, their CEO, who by the way gives personalized attention to all of his projects, we knew that we have found the right person to commit to a complete renovation of our yard. Today, we can say we were absolutely right. There is no one out there that can do what Little Miracle Designs does. “Iris has been the landscaping professional for both a NY city balcony and an East End home. The balcony is challenging, along the Hudson so very strong winds, and home has a lot of different shading issues to deal with. Iris has been the key to making this all work. First, very thoughtful and knowledgeable on the initial design. Knows her plants and has a good vision of where to go. Second, excellent on execution. Shows up when she says, gets the work done in a timely way, and leaves the place looking great. She is always accessible on email and phone, comes when needed, and has a deep bench of folks she works with. Third, great pride in her work. Comes by outside of necessary appointments to check up on the plantings, and has a critical eye so if something is not right she stays on top of it. For us, landscaping is very important and we spend a lot of time and resources on it, and Iris is a great quarterback for what we do. The forms asks for a project date, but after initially getting to know Iris (and replacing another landscaper with her), we have had her give us seasonal contracts for 2012, 2013, and again will in 2014.”

“In 2012 after living in our house for the last 18 years, we decided to update our 1970's colonial rather than move. This project included the landscaping as well as the home itself. After looking at many landscape companies and numerous properties, we decided to hire The LaurelRock Company. We felt that their landscape designers were very current and had a way of listening and interpreting a very botanically uneducated clients wishes! They married our newly remodeled home with our existing pool as if it had always been built this way. The outcome was a very cohesive project that was handled with the utmost professionalism and timeliness. Thank you LaurelRock for helping us have the home of our dreams !”

“I had an excellent experience with Outdoor Design! Chris and his team are very dedicated, hard-working, and full of ideas on how to make the most of your backyard. I had gotten a free estimate from Chris when my irrigation company recommended him. I called him to talk about grading my yard before sprinklers were installed, but somehow, 2 months later, we had our backyard oasis completely finished, and had gained an outdoor living room, dining room and kitchen for a fraction of what an actual building addition would have been. Plus, mature trees for added privacy and landscaping Martha Stewart would be envious of! Chris and Dave took my ideas and budget and made what I had envisioned happen. Chris prices out the estimate a la carte; which means that you don't have to do everything right then; I could start the project and add the fireplace later, or the stonewall seating next year... I was able to shave some of the cost by reusing my hydrangeas and buying some of my own shrubs. Mario and the masonry team are some of the hardest working men I've ever met. They would set up tents in the rain just to keep working! The end result is stunning; Two friends have already hired Chris in the last 6 months to build their own dream backyards. What sets Outdoor Design apart from the competition is that they stand by their work. Chris is a lifelong resident of Fairfield (as am I) and knows that reputation is everything. As he says, he wants his customers to be "ecstatic"! He was an absolute pleasure to work with, as was his entire team. I highly recommend Outdoor Design, give them a call, and I'd be happy to personally talk to anyone who is on the fence. This company is one of the "good ones"!”
