“We have worked with Aran and his team for several years to completely transform our landscape. Beginning with a very difficult and technical remodeling of our front entrance masonry and driveway that required extensive approvals from town boards and the historical commission. The new approach to the house created a beautiful and elegant approach to the house and was further enhanced with abundant plantings and lighting. We also worked with LandForm partners to remodel, or rather completely rebuild our second story deck, which came out beautifully. We also hired the firm to create a masterplan and richly planted landscape for our vacation home. “Robert Khazzam designed our rooftop garden in early 2014, and the installation was completed in fall of 2014. He did an amazing job and my wife and i have been absolutely thrilled with the result. We came to Robert with only some preliminary ideas of what we wanted out of the garden. He developed a beautiful design that absolutely transformed the rooftop. The design made great use of the existing space, using curved plant beds to separate the space into two different areas, but keeping a flowing, open feel to the entire roof. He was very receptive to our thoughts and suggestions as the design progressed, but added a number of features that we hadn't thought of and integrated all of these features into a unified design with a polished, professional look. Robert had a very deep knowledge of the plants that were included in the garden. He included plants that worked very well for the climate and location, and as a result the plants have absolutely thrived. He intentionally included different layers of plants that bloom at various times from the spring to fall, so we've been fascinated to see the garden constantly change as the seasons evolve. He also had a thorough understanding of the requirements for installing the garden, so that the installation went very smoothly and the finished garden matched the design perfectly. My wife and I had looked at options for finishing our roof for years, and we have often commented that we never thought it would turn out as well as it did. I would highly recommend Robert for designing a garden or outdoor space, and we're very grateful for the work he did for us.”

“Iris has been the landscaping professional for both a NY city balcony and an East End home. The balcony is challenging, along the Hudson so very strong winds, and home has a lot of different shading issues to deal with. Iris has been the key to making this all work. First, very thoughtful and knowledgeable on the initial design. Knows her plants and has a good vision of where to go. Second, excellent on execution. Shows up when she says, gets the work done in a timely way, and leaves the place looking great. She is always accessible on email and phone, comes when needed, and has a deep bench of folks she works with. Third, great pride in her work. Comes by outside of necessary appointments to check up on the plantings, and has a critical eye so if something is not right she stays on top of it. For us, landscaping is very important and we spend a lot of time and resources on it, and Iris is a great quarterback for what we do. The forms asks for a project date, but after initially getting to know Iris (and replacing another landscaper with her), we have had her give us seasonal contracts for 2012, 2013, and again will in 2014.”
