“I hired this company to redo my back yard which was sloped to the green belt. I wanted a smaller area of grass to mow that was flat, and also incorporate a garden for my wife. My idea was to cut down on the amount of watering due to the drought in Texas. They came back with the idea of building a wall 25' out from my house, that connected back to the house on the sides. The front section would have steps going down to the garden which would be 10' x 50' wide. After the garden is my Asian inspired relaxation garden and paths I previously built. The best part of the design they incorporated was the installation of a underground tank for rain water collection. This will gather the rain when we have storms, and allow the water to be used when we are in stage 2/3 water restrictions. De Lara Landscaping is an excellent source for landscaping design, ideas, and materials. De Lara Landscape has a wide selection of stones, flagstone, mulch, soils, Bermuda and St. Augustine Sod, drought resistant Hybrid sod, and native trees and plants that survive the heat and cold of central Texas. There prices are very reasonable, and they offer delivery on all materials. The location is North of Parmer Lane and Harris Branch Parkway. Ricardo offers great advice on doing any project. I am very impressed with the service and products they offer.”

“We had Jef and his team do some regrading, dig a ditch along the rear perimeter and create a large French Drain running along the back and side of our property. The system integrated into our existing gutters and downspouts, and took the excess water to daylight (away from our house and out of harms way). I highly recommend Jef and his team. They worked hard, were easy to communicate with, highly professional and the most important of all: When we had our first big rain after the project was completed, our house stayed completely dry. Strongly recommend.”

“The Fertile Grounds guys are amazing. They show up, get the job done, and do excellent work. They are very professional, but at the same time fun people to have around. I have had them do two jobs. One was a landscaping job where they built a retaining wall, layed sod, terraced a sloping area with stepping stones and river rocks, laid other massive flat rocks for a patio space, and they planted a 12 foot palm tree. The other job they did for m was to build a French drain around a house that had drainage problems. They got the job done amazingly fast in both cases, and I've been nothing but pleased.”

“I used Lawnstarter to do a complete resodding job and the work has been top-notch. The re-sodding took a full day but Jason and his crew paid close attention to detail around the edges and made sure I was completely happy with the quality of service. I must say that even though the price was expensive I feel as if I got a bargain. Good workmanship is hard to come by and these guys have it.
