“We worked with Matt and the crew at Alpine Landscape Service for 5-6 years at one house and plan on working with them at our next. He first worked with us when we installed a stamped concrete patio and outdoor fireplace and subsequently landscaped the area around it. It turned out just beautifully. After that, Matt reworked a bed at the front of the house and install a drip irrigation system. Once again, it all worked out great and we then hired Alpine to do regular maintenance. Everyone we dealt with was always friendly and very professional.”

“We had a difficult problem. Our neighbor damaged our all natural river bank. We were very concerned with erosion to our river bank and the issues it would cause our home. Cheryl and her team immediately seeded, applied straw and a protective mess just in time for snow. Her plans for this spring plant are perfect. She is able to restore our river bank back to its natural state. Wow!”

“This review is looong overdue but we wanted to give an absolutely huge shout-out and the best possible review for GC Landscaping. Dan and his amazing crew completely transformed our once sad looking front yard to a clean, durable, well and professionally built large deck complete with a firepit and area for future pergola. Daniel was careful to always ask us specifics on pavers, colors, lighting, etc before he proceeded. It was especially scary and intimidating for us as we'd never planned and executed such a large project. Above and beyond is such an understatement to their quality craftsmenship...we for sure will reach out to them again in the near and distant future for more projects. Thank you SO much again Daniel and the entire GC Landscaping team. Well deserved and sorry for such a late review!”

The initial consultation with Hayden re: a retaining wall, garden boxes, sprinkler repairs and new sod was informative, detailed and included an estimate that was spot-on when my project was completed. Thankfully the project followed the timeline Hayden provided so my yard was not a construction site longer than necessary. “Thetford Landscaping and Irrigation owned by Drew Goldsmith has been our "go-to" crew since 2009 when our house was new. In each of the subsequent summers, we have designed and continued to complete a landscaping plan in stages to include our whole property. Parameters were about a $10,000-15,000 yearly budget, and a well thought out concept to enhance the land to the best purpose-- south exposure, trees for privacy, view maintenance, and appropriate plant material for our 9700 feet elevation in the Rocky Mountains. Each spring, we would meet with Drew to determine project area and scope and time of execution. Crew members who work on the projects take utmost care to complete work to our standards, and work competently and carefully. They are always asking for our input. We have been very pleased--hence having them back year after year. They are easy to get along with, knowledgeable, and eager to please, and cost conscious. In several instances, access to certain areas of the property were difficult, but they figured out how to get the equipment, large trees, etc placed and planted without disturbing things already completed in the ongoing project. Expertise using equipment was evident. Although after 6 years of creation, the project is complete, we know we can count on them for irrigation maintence, looking after trees, etc. that they have planted, and any additional projects that we might want to include. We have had, and continue to have a good relationship.”

“Urban Oasis did our backyard in the Erie/Lafayette area. They planned a largely xeriscape backyard with swales to conserve and use runoff water. They graded, installed hardscape (a really cool red stone from Lyons,) planted clover patches, and ran irrigation. Their prices were lower than many competitors (especially exciting considering many of the competitors do nothing more than lay sod, run underground sprinklers, and use landscape fabric and rock, and those competitors are still more expensive!) Because we like to work in our yard, we took over at that point to buy and spread mulch, plant trees and ornamental grasses, and scatter wildflower seeds. Urban Oasis continues to advise us on which plants to put where, and we will have them back for phase 2 when we want to expand the hardscape walkway and add a shade sail. Our neighbors have just signed up to do their yard with Urban Oasis as well! Having a sustainable yard that uses very little water is saving us a lot of money on our water bill, and the butterflies love our yard! I can't wait to see the native fauna show up when our native plants get a little older. :-)”

“Provided initial garden install when house was constructed 9 yrs ago. Since then has done annual maintenance including annual hanging baskets, decorative pots, garden renewal and weeding. Only thing stopping a fifth star is size and scope of the company so I need additional service providers for things like tree fertilizing. This is no big deal. The service provided is courteous and professional.”
