“We contracted with The Landscape Design Center to provide a consultation and subsequent installation of a full landscape lighting update. Although we already had landscape lighting in place for a number of years, as the trees and shrubs have grown we were feeling like the existing lighting did not accentuate the natural beauty of the property nor did it provide adequate path lighting on parts of the property. Our first step was to meet with a Landscape Designer from the Landscape Design Center. She was very knowledgeable with great and creative ideas..... Exactly what we needed. She not only designed the project but also managed the project from start to finish. She also coordinated with our electrician to ensure proper coordination with out Lutron System. In all aspects, she was outstanding! The installation itself was also outstanding. This was a complete makeover. So we expected the lawn and planting beds may be pretty torn up when the project was complete. We were surprised when that was not the case at all. All of the installation was done in a professional and clean manner. You can barely tell that we had any work done at all. The end result is amazing. The new lighting brings out all the best in the property. We can't wait until warmer weather when we spend more time outdoors and really get to enjoy it even more.”

“We hired Jose and his team to landscape a large area around our new pool. He was excellent! We are so pleased with the outcome and his work has reinforced that we made the right decision. From the moment we met Jose, we immediately felt comfortable with him. He listened to our vision and our ideas for our yard. Throughout the process, Jose was great at communicating with us. He asked for our opinions and thoughts and ensured that we liked how the vision was being carried out. He also shared his opinions on what would work and what wouldn't. We greatly appreciated this, as we do not have green thumbs. Jose and his team arrived on time each day, and made sure the work site was completely clean before they left. Their attention to detail is amazing!! We are so impressed with the quality of their work. We had received estimates from some of the "larger" landscape/nursery companies in our area; however, we felt we were just another appointment on the books - but not with Jose. “I've used Sharper Cut to develop the gardens in front of the house, terrace the front garden for a level field for the trees, bushes, plants and waterfountain, and build out the back garden to include and expanded patio and fishpond with waterfall. Their work is superior...and helps give the house a more inviting exterior view to family and guests. Having no expertise in the best plants to accent the pool area, Matt listened to the kinds of things I was interested in -- all-season color, easy maintenance -- and recommended the perfect plants. They are all still healthy and beautiful 6 years later! We've had Gately Scapes do several other projects for us since then and can't say enough about how pleased we've been with everything they've done. “Cape Landscape Contractors have been working at my home for 18 to 20 years. Landscaping, patio work, snow removal, general upkeep, mowing, mulch, leaf removal and weeding. I opened my business, Annapolis Wedding Chapel 8 years. the grounds were barren - and there was one dead plant at the corner of the building. They installed a large patio for weddings, grasses, plants, mulch, stone work, weeding and so much more. Cutting grass every week and keeping the property picture perfect! So many people in the area have stopped into the chapel and asked for their business card.”

“We have used Architectural Gardens for several years. They designed and landscaped our yard (installing a retaining wall and planting plants appropriate for this area- drought resistant and deer resistant) and based on their recommendations we have color throughout the spring, summer and fall. We have an annual contract that requires them to prune and tend to our plants and plantings in the spring and fall. We have found their prices reasonable given the amount of effort their landscape teams spend on our property. Their workers are courteous, considerate and communication is not a problem. The AG management team responds promptly to our queries and emails and is on-site at the start of any project or scheduled work. Missy frequently provides input on how best to care for our plants. She is very hands on. We have recommended this company to our neighbors and friends in other communities. Project Date is most recent of many projects.”
