“AOS has been an integral part of our home landscaping, design and annual maintenance work since 2007. We have built an outstanding relationship with the entire staff of this company. About 6 years ago they designed and completed our backyard patio, landscaping and water feature. Prior to that, AOS was only responsible for annual maintenance of our lawn. It was from those first few years of lawn maintenance that we became 100% comfortable with AOS. Tim Arendt, the owner, was never pushy to do any other work for us. His crew would come on a regular basis, always courteous to me and my family, accurate billing and always willing to talk to us if we had questions. When it came time to take on a major project in our backyard, I did not hesitate to contact AOS. The design plans were excellent, pricing was very fair, and implementation was right on schedule. The work they do is outstanding! Of course, with any project, you are going to have some issues from time to time. I never, ever feel as though I can not call Tim or his crew if I have an issue with something. I always get a timely response and if necessary, Tim or one of his management team will come out and meet with us. More importantly, it is the on-going maintenance plan I have with them for my entire property. Investing in the project is one thing, but it is the annual work that matters most. The crew of AOS are excellent! They are always approachable, kind, considerate of our property, meticulous with cleanup, and genuinely very nice & honest people. Tim Arendt is a very honest & intelligent professional in all his dealings with us. AOS is a wonderful company, outstanding staff, and most importantly they value your friendship and business. They are really good guys and very knowledgeable! I would highly recommend AOS for any outdoor work you may consider for your home.”

“What a wonderful experience to have this company redo my back yard. From the design to the implementation, Earth, Turf & Wood was professional all the way. The existing flagstone patio was redesigned and redone. It had been installed incorrectly and after just 3 years was dangerous because of stones becoming unstable. It also was incorrectly laid and flooded every time it rained. Now it is a charming and safe place to relax. The landscaping is just awesome. My fence was pushed back and plants and trees were chosen of varying heights, flowering times, and colors. The finished yard looks exactly as the 'blueprint' does. The people who worked on my yard were all passionate about what they do, respectful of the house, mindful that their worksite was actually someone's home. They never left for the day without securing the yard so my dogs were safe, cleaning off any dust or dirt from surfaces, and putting their tools and equipment off to the sides. They worked constantly from early morning to late afternoon, stopping only for a brief lunch. No frequent smoke breaks, loud music, phone breaks, etc. Quite different from other people who have worked in my yard. Very nice guys, too, and inspirational as far as work ethics.”

“We recently enlisted quotes from 5 landscapers to rip out, replace all of old shrubbery as well as our concrete walkway and rear patio to be replaced with pavers. Quite an extensive and expensive undertaking Out of all the companies contacted, Mike Wambaugh from Waterfall Gardens responded within a day to survey the area and returned with a few days with a color computer drawings and pictures with descriptions of all the trees and shrubbery as well as catalogues with the recommended pavers. His design of the patio was exactly what I had in mind while the others didn't offer anything of the sort. We decided to complete the job in 2 phases; the font in the fall and the rear in the spring. I couldn't believe how fast and efficient they were; everything was completed in about 4 days. Mike was gracious enough to complete a few extra projects at no charge such as moving all of the extra dirt to back for future grading projects and incorporating 2 dry wells to hide the drainage of our front spouting drainage. Truly a 5 star project.We look forward to completing the project in the spring so I can enjoy the patio,”

“Devin is not only a stone contractor, but he is a true artist. He collaborated with us to decide what was best for us, and it was obvious as he and his team labored that he takes great pride in his work. And, in true artist form, we were ecstatic with the final results, and he was still not sure he was completely satisfied. The project itself was on the small side from a contracting standpoint, but we had an approximately 30 square foot walkway from our paved driveway to our front porch steps that was a massive flood issue when it rained. We were concerned the water would get into the basement and we needed to take care of it. We wanted something that was going to match the overall look of our mountain home and existing landscape. Devin created an effective drainage solution, and then was able to use stone to create the walkway itself plus two short rock walls to frame it in. It is perfectly formal enough to be a great part of our curb appeal and also informal enough to fit into our mountain house feel. I recommend him highly.”
