“We have worked with Buccellato Design for the past three years to design, build and decorate our home, and there is no doubt that they are masters at their art. The experience and process of designing, building and decorating our home with Buccellato Design was enjoyable and smooth, and produced an outcome beyond our expectations. This was our first endeavor in designing a home, and while we had strong feelings for what we wanted our home to convey, we had no experience in actually making it a reality. The Buccellatos not only listened to us as we described the kind of home and atmosphere that we wanted to create, but they patiently and meticulously captured our vision, which was often in bits and pieces, and at the end of the design process presented us with a complete, articulate, stunning set of plans that exceeded what we could have hoped for. Every detail of our home, from the most insignificant to the greatest, was considered, evaluated and planned for. From design to construction to decoration BD demonstrated a masterful understanding of each material in our home; the texture and feel, durability, appropriateness, how the material would fit with the whole scope of the home, what it would communicate, and how it would age. Their communication with us throughout the entire design and building process, whether responding to a question or providing a progress update, was professional, consistent and detailed. They also worked within the budget we had originally set. The presence of BD on site during the eighteen+ month process of building the home was invaluable. If we had never been able to step foot on site during construction it would not have been a problem, as BD and their team monitored progress on literally every inch of the home, sent regular status updates and photos, and caught any mistakes made by contractors. In our case, we actually were limited in our ability to be on site as I was on bed rest for seven months during the construction and decorating phase. Many of our friends who have built homes have told us that they needed to be on site multiple times a week, checking for mistakes and ensuring appropriate progress; for us this was not an option with my medical limitations. BD and their team didn't miss a beat, monitoring and ensuring progress and quality during this time. The final product of our home, which did not suffer in the least from our inability to be regularly on site, is a testament to their meticulous administration.
