“I worked for Hawks Hollow Builders, and from the viewpoint of quality building, I can give them a very high recommendation. The guys I worked with were experienced professionals, who each took pride in a job done to the best of their abilities. Of course, many builders take pride in the detailing of a job - custom case work, or in building an oversized cedar timber porch, but at HHB, the guys frame a job in the best way they know how, never rushing through a project at the cost of thorough quality. These are the kind of guys who recognize that you might have to cut something more than once for it to fit right and look best. The owners were on site often, reviewing what had been done with our boss (both our foreman and the owner of the company). In other words, they were very involved, and it was welcomed. They also were able to envision better what had been described on paper. They also have a woodshop, run by one guy who's been there for many years. His skill for woodworking is incredible, and the doors and cabinets he builds are beautiful. If you are looking for creative minds, capable hands, and honest builders, I can recommend Hawks Hollow Builders.”

“Our experience in hiring Cornerstone for a kitchen remodel was outstanding in every respect. We got bids for this complete remodel project from 5 firms, and Cornerstone was far and away the best in their design, value, and time frame for completion. Once under contract they were a joy to deal with and kept every promise. We are both professionals by occupation and appreciate dealing with contractors who are also professional in their work. Nada and Jovan are total professionals in every way. Nada is a gifted designer, and is so easy to work with. She had ideas that were far better for our needs than any of the other firms that bid on the project. On the few occasions that we desired something different than she suggested, she was very happy to accommodate our ideas. Jovan was also the consummate professional and does beautiful work. The project was completed on time and within budget and looks as though it cost twice as much as it did. We have received raves from all who have seen our new kitchen. We couldn't be happier with the result and give them our highest recommendation.”

“Tom Morrison is a top notch builder! We were looking to build a second home in South Bend. I will say trying to build a house by long distance (We live in Dallas) was a bit scary to us upfront. Tom put as at ease from the start. It turned out to be a very easy project all because of Tom. He was great to communicate everything that was going on with the project and would send pictures to us via email everyday documenting the progress. All of his subcontractors were professional and timely doing great work. Tom is very good about tying up loose ends. If there is anything at all that you want changed or have questions about, he will address the matter and get it worked out. We could not believe how smooth this project went. We absolutely love the house and feel confident if there were any issues in the future, Tom would be there to work out it out. We highly recommend Tom Morrison Builders!!!”

“In hiring a company to build our Mattawan home several years ago I was referred to a local home building company whom I hired to handle all of our concrete work which included foundation, basement garage and driveway. As well I hired them to also complete the excavating, septic system and final grade. The decision to utilize this company was because I was told they did good work and were trusted in the community. Little did I know how important this decision would turn out to be. During the building process that took place in many phases I worked with Mr. Berchiatti who managed this division for the home building company. Approx 1 year after the driveway was finished I began to have popping and cracking of the driveway in many areas. Although the reason for the driveway deteriorating was never really determined the most important point is that Mr. Berchiatti assessed the condition of the driveway and made the decision to make it right. He soon had a crew tear up the very large driveway and replace all the concrete at no cost to me! This could easily have been $10,000 for me to replace the 15 yards of concrete and all the labor involved. Later, I would come to realize that I wasn't hiring that particular home building company for its reputation but rather the reputation and work of Mr. Berchiatti. He pushed to have the driveway replaced despite resistance from the home building company, for whom he worked for, to absorb the cost. I now see that Mr. Berchiatti has started his own home building company. If and when I decide to build my next home I wouldn't hesitate to hire him and his expertise. He is professional, easy to work with, dependable and most importantly stands behind his work. I would recommend him to anyone I know looking to build a home in the kalamazoo or Mattawan area.”
