“We had redone the second floor of our house and needed a painting company to do multiple tasks in addition to painting. DMP did a fantastic job on the exterior of our house. They color matched our new dormers with the first floor so the entire house would be one cohesive color. On the interior they explained he difference between using an oil or water based stain for a wood paneled ceiling. On their recommendation I picked the oil-based that has darkened to a wonderful patina. They were professional, kept the multiple colors straight, finished in a timely manner, and did a great job.”

First, Gracy provided a thorough and professional estimate of our exterior house painting project taking many photos to get as accurate a quote as possible. She returned the quote in a timely manner and gave us the start date we requested. When we were ready a month earlier than we anticipated, Gracy had her team on the site the following Monday. Gracy always kept us informed of next steps and of when she expected to be back for the next part of the job. She answered all of our questions completely and graciously. She had a team of carpenters on site to repair and replace sills, fascia boards and shingles where needed. Gracy and her painter, Robert, did the rest of the job. They power-washed everything, removed shutters, downspouts, covered windows, light fixtures, meter boxes etc and taped everything carefully. They primed and finish-coat painted with the best quality paints. I loved how Gracy kept praising my choice of colors, which was actually a relief because it wasn’t an easy choice and it’s a big decision that I’m going to have to live with for quite a while. She was so easy and pleasant to work with. I threw her a few curve balls and she handled them deftly and with grace. As we got to the end of the project, we could see a few things that we hadn’t thought of earlier that would make the project turn out better. For example, Gracy suggested painting the foundation with a special paint, the same color as the main part of the house. It made the house look whole. I would never have thought of it myself but what a difference it makes. We finished the project today with a complete walk around and after a few more touch-ups and another walk-around, we said goodbye to these consummate professionals who clearly take great pride in their work. They deserve every penny we paid them.”
