Tile Smith LLC
Tile Installers in Philadelphia
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsJanuary 29, 2024
“Tile Smith renovated our master bathroom and did an excellent job. We could not be happier with the result! Andrew and his crew installed a new shower, removed an old tub, installed a new floor and cabinets too. It totally transformed our bath into a brand new room. They were neat and clean in our house, showed up when they said they would and completed the bathroom on schedule. After the job was completed they came back and took care of a few items we noticed later. If you are going to have any work done in your home, I recommend that you call TileSmith. They were extremely professional and did better work that anyone else I have ever used.”
Bella Tile and Stone
Tile Installers in Philadelphia

“Excellent Job! Not only did Bella do a great job with the tile & stone, but also they coordinated the entire complicated renovation. We renovated our master bathroom and chose Bella to be the general contractor for the job based on the recommendation list at the Tile Shop (where we got our tile). We received 3 bids for the job, and Bella was the lowest and friendliest. This care continued throughout the life of the project, as we received the contractor's full discount at many supply shops. Bella even took care of the damaged material that arrived from the Tile Shop (supplies that they were not responsible for). They also pointed out value opportunities, such as with our heated floors: we ordered the heat mats originally, but when Bella arrived they said it would be cheaper to wire the floor manually and it would also cover more surface.... they were right! They also took care of returning the overpriced heat mats that we bought (again, material that was not their responsibility). I highly recommend Bella Tile and Stone for your next job. They did wonders with our modern materials, and took care of all of the ins-and-outs that we had not considered in doing this job.”
Pepe Tile Installation

“I needed 500 Sq. Ft. of basement area to be tiled. The basement was a converted garage in a 1950's row home. The floor is a concrete slab, not particularly well-suited for fresh tile. I knew the project would require a leveling agent to smooth-out the gruff concrete. The job had nuances to consider as well, such as cutting around a plumbing pipe, water heater and furnace. John Pepe is the owner and also the person who came to do the work! I priced-out the installation and got three quotes. John's quote came in at half of the price of the leading flooring retailer in the area. His price was a bit more than Home Depot, but his expertise was well worth it. I wholeheartedly recommend Pepe Tile. Everyone who comes to visit marvels at his artisan-level work!”

“I initially went to the showroom on a Saturday, without an appointment,to look at samples of Marmoleum click linoleum. The sales staff was fabulous. They showed me the Marmoleum samples and discussed them with me. They showed me various other options including laminate and vinyl. I was very interested in the luxury vinyl (this surprised even me!) Bella Flooring suggested that I take a few of the samples home for a few days to look at them in the room they would be installed in in various light. The samples were quite large (showroom size.) I did take 2 and tried them for a few days. I purchased the engineered luxury vinyl tile flooring, us floors core tec plus from Bella Flooring. (Self installation.) The order arrived faster than the estimated date. The product was as expected. I am very happy with my interaction with Bella Flooring. I hope to do business with them again in the future.”

Their experience and creativity enhanced any previously conceived vision of the spaces and the end result was extraordinary. D'town interiors”

Omark Tile
Tile Installers in Philadelphia
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsDecember 28, 2015
“Mark has now done three tile jobs for us in the past year and a half including a large kitchen back splash, the walls of a half bathroom, and the floor of a great room. We are extremely satisfied with his work and even recommended him to friends who used Mark to do their bathroom and were completely satisfied as well. What we appreciate most about Mark is that he not only does a great job installing tiles, but will give you advice and suggestions along the way if he thinks there is a better way of doing something. For example, we were all set to buy a transition piece between the recent floor he installed and our existing kitchen floor. Mark instead suggested a sloping tile transition that looks out of this world and has been complimented on by everyone who sees our floor. Not only does this look great but he saved us a few bucks in the process. Mark's prices are fair and he is very prompt.”

Distinctive Tile & Stone Design

“There is no better place to buy tile! Not only do they have the best selection around but they know what they are talking about when it comes to the materials they sell and about design. They have great ideas on designs and have a great eye for color so they can give great advice for either the novice or the professional. We started going to Distinctive Tile and Stone Design a few years ago and have never gone anywhere else since. We have moved out of the area but still drive back to use their services. It's a family owned business and when you talk to them you are talking to the owners not just someone they have coming in a few hours a week to help out. They are so easy to work with and so helpful - I can't say enough about them! There is no reason to go anywhere else! You have to go there to believe how good they really are.”
