“They designed and installed an elliptical patio with a fire pit. The took great care to protect existing landscape of myself and neighbors. No small feat with the amount of heavy rock and concrete they moved. Clean up was outstanding at the end of each work day. One neighbor has already hired them,another says he is going to, and a third is really disappointed in the results of the other company he chose.”

They timeline they proposed was exactly how it happened which was nice to know when you are excited about getting a pool installed. The team is highly professional and positive. “I hired Tom to design and build our gunite pool based on recommendations from the firm that did our landscaping. In my experience, pool builders are a sketchy bunch - I called no fewer than 4 companies for quotes. 2 never even bothered to show up to quote, 1 spent an hour measuring and never came back with a quote, and the final one was at my house for 10 minutes, wrote a number on a piece of paper and handed it to me - no details on equipment, lights, etc. Just a number and he left. Read other pool builder reviews and you'll see the same. Tom showed up numerous occasions to discuss the pool's function (are you doing laps, playing with kids, just floating with a drink?), and ultimately he's the one we hired. He hit every deadline, kept every promise, and has done a truly professional job for us. I probably could have spent less, but I am sure we would have paid in the end in lesser equipment, lesser quality, and more headaches. Pay now or pay later is what I always find in construction. I highly recommend Custom Pool Pros, and would use them again.”

“It was a pleasure working with Anthony Calvitti of Blue Haven Pools on a complex pool project that included extensive back cutting into grade, walls and a custom pool built into the hillside. From the point of pool excavation and the extensive back cut into the hillside by his excavator the process went smoothly and on schedule with steel, gunite, electric, plumbing, gas, tile, coping and bonding loop installed in a very professional and timely manner. Standard of work was excellent, customer service evident and the homeowner was swimming on time and as promised. We look forward to doing our next project with this custom pool builder and would highly recommend them to anyone.”

“Chris (SQP) was the project manager on our inground concrete pool project during the spring of 2011. I thought that Chris was extremely supportive throught the construction process (appx 3 months). Chris was readily available and eager to answer any questions we had. Our pool is over a year old, and we still keep in touch with Chris and he provides advice/support when we need it. As an example of his excellent service, during the plastering of our pool, we noticed what looked to be an issue with how it was settling. Chris drove roughly 15 miles over from his office to address the issue immediately. All in all, we are exremely pleased with how the construction turned out. I would highly recommend Chris and SQP to anyone considering building a pool.”
