“Since moving to Texas, I have realized that having a pool is a necessity. I didn’t just want any pool; I wanted one that was functional for my family, yet truly beautiful to look at. Peter helped me achieve that goal. He was able to meld my desire for a particular outdoor aesthetic with the practicality of a family pool and outdoor living space. Whether you are building a home or a pool, it can get very stressful. Peter and his team were extremely responsive to every one of my concerns, regardless of how nit-picky they were. In fact, it was so refreshing to find someone who appreciated my attentiveness to detail and even matched it! His troubleshooting skills are also remarkable and he will assume accountability for the entire project. If something isn’t done the right way- he will get someone to make it right- or he will fix it himself. Building the pool and outdoor living space was a big financial expense, but I feel that Pure Design created a beautiful and unique space that will hopefully increase the value of our home. The intangible rewards of watching your children truly enjoy the outdoor space and making lasting family memories are priceless. Communication was very good during the project. Tropic Island Pools resolved every concern during construction, used quality materials and didn't leave a single loose end. Their design was creative and suggestions were so helpful. For example, they designed the gazebo to PERFECTLY match our house - AWESOME! “My pool was in pretty bad shape. There was a chunk of plaster that had left a hole exposed and the pool was stained green. They had their team come out, acid wash the pool, blow out the pipes and repair the damaged plaster. They even fixed the rubber stuff thats around the edge of the pool. Now my pool looks brand new and I'm excited to have friends over to swim.”

Before the contract was signed he provided 3D renderings that we were able to change on the spot to get the perfect backyard! “I recently decided to completely redesign my pool. In reviewing pool contractors, a friend of mine suggested Shellback seeing that Shellback had just completed his. His recommendation paid off many times over! Not only was his price reasonable and under budget, Trey personally help design every aspect of it. My pool was a somewhat more challenging than normal, we incorporated a 105" Stealth Acoustic TV that normally is partially below grade and at command it raises 10' above the main water feature. Definitely not a simple task. I highly recommend Shellback as an A+ contractor!”
