“Removal of a large pine tree and stump gave us the opportunity to expand and reconfigure the front entrance deck and steps into our house. My son and I are competent with the carpentry but did not have the time, skills or prowess to dig footings or pour pads. In addition, there were other possible timing issues so I was looking for someone who might be willing to do some aspects of the project but not necessarily all. Matt and Connor of Creative Spaces were recommended to me by a neighbor. I called and Matt came over the next day. We discussed the project and Matt came back the following day with a quote for (1) piers and pad, (2) ledger board, (3) deck structure (without decking), and (4) the complete project. Not all companies are willing to take on only part of a project – it’s all or nothing. Based on costs and other factors, we elected to go with (1) and (2) from Creative Spaces and do the rest on our own. As a small (two-day) project, they were able to schedule it quickly and showed up as agreed. The work went smoothly. The workmanship was excellent and professional. Matt and Connor were a pleasure to have around and even provided helpful advice on aspects of the project they weren’t doing. I have no reservation recommending Matt and Connor of Creative Spaces!”

She incorporated built-in benches, and other touches that we never would have thought of, increasing the functionality of our deck tremendously. It has become a favorite gathering spot for our family. Throughout the entire process, all permits and details were handled by the Lee's, and all we had to do was enjoy our new deck. The project stayed right on budget, and the Lee's' skills and knowledge were apparent. This was our second project with them, as they also remodeled our front stairs and created a front sitting porch for us as well. They are wonderful and I could not recommend them more highly!”
