“Called me immediately after I inquired about services and the job was completed in 2 days. I'd contacted other companies who never even responded to my calls. The product is excellent, quality of installation was excellent and the prep work done means he pavers will stay in place forever! Really made a difference in the look of the backyard.”
Stepstone, Inc.

Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsOctober 16, 2014
“We have been working with Stepstone precast products for several years. Their quality control is the best we have found with very consistent finishes and coloring. The Stepstone precast products allow us to incorporate very clean white colors into our patio installs which is hard to attain with poured in place concrete. As Landscape Architects we know the look and quality we are getting when we specify Stepstone. As Contractors, we have the peace of mind knowing that the consistent finishes and colors will satisfy our most discerning clients.”

Black Diamond Paver Stones & Landscape, Inc.
Stone, Paver & Concrete Contractors in Newbury Park
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsJanuary 8, 2016
“Jim Roberts was our contact with Black Diamond for our project which consisted of (1)replacing a poured concrete front walkway that had two steps with pavers on an incline with no steps (this avoids people tripping on the steps at night) ; (2) creating a parking space next to the driveway with pavers; and (3) creating extra patio space using pavers around the back yard pool out of a grass area. Jim provided a nice presentation and competitive estimate and provided valuable creative input that steered us towards good choices of pavers and a great outcome. I was very nervous about the second part of the project (see above) because virtually all of our house utilities (gas, electric, telephone, cable, water line and drain line) all were directly through the area to be paved. Also, two massive tree root systems running through the area had to be hand removed due to being directly over the utilities. Jim and Black Diamond served up a truly outstanding crew that pulled it off without cutting any of the utility lines. Jim had good follow through and represented his company professionally and he would be our first call should we need paver services again. In summary, this was one of our best ever contracting outcomes and give due credit to Jim for that result. Chuck Clark”

Concrete Etc Inc.
Stone, Paver & Concrete Contractors in Newbury Park
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsDecember 23, 2020
“Jeramie (the owner) & Jose (the job foreman) are absolutely now & forever on my list of favorite subcontractors. If only every worker who came to my house were so fabulous my life would be so much better... I hired Jeramie because I was super impressed by the artistry of his work for Judy Kameon, the celebrity garden designer, at a number of her sites. I don't see a lot of concrete walls that I would call beautiful, but as it turns out, a lot of the walls around Los Angeles that are Pinterest-worthy, are actually his work! In addition to building a 5 foot retaining wall at the back of my property that would keep the hillside behind my house from falling down on me, Jeramie also rebuilt the damaged front porch of my 100 year old bungalow to period-specific perfection. These two jobs sound simple, but the engineering required for my hillside property, was crazy-making. With concrete work, there's no easy or cheap fix if you screw up. You pretty much have to scrap everything & start over from scratch if a city inspector doesn't like the work. When it comes to the human labor element of concrete work you really do get what you pay for. No, Jeramie is not cheap. However, his expertise saved me--at minimum--$5000 because I did not have to get a soil report or testing for my job. Also, I did not have to install a hideous $3000 swale across my backyard to divert water to the street because of his superior knowledge of LA's new Green Building Codes. Jeramie is worth paying for.”
Andrei's Masonry

Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsApril 18, 2020
“I used Andrei to renovate my living room and kitchen and install a new fireplace surround. I am very happy with his innovative suggestions, and work his crew did in my house looks just phenomenal! We did not even expect that planed remodeling can so dramatically change the whole look of the house. They work fast, clean and the quality just high class. We love everything they have done. The new marble slab around my fireplace looks fantastic! Thank you so very much! And we are definitely going to ask them to remodel our bathrooms that is coming up next!”

“The concrete in our driveway has a lot of cracks. Or at least it did until we got West Coast Concrete to fix them. We had new, mosaic-style concrete put in. Looks like a million bucks and it didn't even break the bank!”
