It's actually pretty straightforward... Black Lacquer Design was launched with the belief that almost every room can benefit from a bit of black and a little lacquer. Since its inception in 2014, the firm received a number of accolades for outstanding residential and commercial work, most recently being named one of the nation's fifteen "Fresh Faces of Design" for 2017 by Luxe Magazine. We're serious about execution and aesthetic and ultimately, we think it's all about constructing a fulfilling and beautiful life. Above all else, design should make you feel amazing inside and out! Whether your space is craving a small cosmetic change or in need of a complete overhaul, we have exciting answers (and promise lots of fun along the way!).

The work of ANX begins with a fundamental optimism with regard to the continued value and impact that design and architecture have on our cities and their inhabitants. Our approach is positive, opportunistic, and intellectually flexible with every theoretical and commissioned project – both large and small. Our belief is that one can affect significant change through a careful analysis and deconstruction of project conditions, and the application of a thoughtful, conceptually rigorous process. Constraints are opportunities. A broad analysis of a project’s site conditions, environmental context, program, budget, schedule, and jurisdictional parameters are mined for latent opportunities to be metabolized towards innovative and novel design solutions. Our process resists the autonomous and pure in favor of the dependent, messy, and complex possibilities of a poetic inclusion of multiple and often conflicting influences. This process ultimately leads to the intersection of architecture, landscape, and urban networks, and the inherent negotiations necessary to implement a coherent experience respectful of the impact upon the environment. Assumptions are challenged. Our understanding of the capacity for design to organize complex systems with thoughtful intention, environmental appropriateness, and a practical dose of both form and function, is coupled with our belief in the responsibility of the designer to ask questions and challenge assumptions of the built environment. Our ongoing interest in developing experiences that explore space, scale, orientation, light, detail, materiality, and emerging technologies is demonstrated in a wide range of residential, cultural, commercial and landscape projects that question, and when appropriate, inflect existing paradigms. Flexibility is required. We do not jump to conclusions; we test conventional and novel solutions to problems with equal fervor. The manipulation and application of accepted organizational typologies, as well as the transposition of foreign typologies are all fair game. Our design process takes into consideration numerous configurations for all projects and attempts to embed conceptual rigor within each. However, the project’s performance is maintained as the ultimate proof of its success. Taking on new projects for 2019! Born and raised in a 30's house in Paris Emma DeRoche grew up in both the creative environment of her mother's artistic passions and the rich French architecture. While she was graduating with a master in economical statistics she spent most weekends renovating with her parents their homes and discovering her ever-growing love for flea markets, home interior design fairs, furniture and textile stores... This eventually led her to take her passion to the next step. She went pursuing studies at Les Beaux Arts in Paris, started on giving interior consulting and later on remodeling projects. Emma aims to craft her clients' home as a functional space serving their lifestyle and extending their personality in a curated way. Weither their style is Contemporary, Traditional, Industrial, etc., she will help discovering and creating this Haute Couture version of YOU through a layering of texture, shapes and lighting , along with the right color scheme. Strongly believing that a delightful aesthetic space comes from the 3 principles of CUSTOM work, QUALITY furniture, and unique antique UP-CYCLED pieces & Art, Emma will lead you out of the secure all-store-bought ways to a well thought out balance between the vintage, the custom and the new. The result is a Statement home with a story, the one that will vibrate with your family's SOUL.

I believe there is no "one size fits all" organizing template. Each client is different; so a different system needs to be set up for the individual based on their exclusive personal needs. Some clients want to establish "homes" for all of their stuff, some want to better understand Feng Shui, some want an aesthetic eye and some ....simply an eye for order.

Yoram LePair Architects is a full-service architectural firm founded in 2009 that approaches each project as a creative process and a collaboration between architect and client. Our design process merges today’s sophisticated computer design tools and traditional physical modeling techniques to create innovative built environments to meet our clients’ needs. It is a process based on one learned previously when Yoram spent six years in the office of Frank Gehry, gaining experience on a wide range of cutting edge public and private projects across the globe. Our projects seek to create beautiful and unique spaces for our clients, utilizing light, proportion, material and texture. Clarity of communication of design intent is emphasized, with designs described in 3d, physical models, sketches, and drawings to ensure satisfaction of our clients project needs and goals. The critical step translating from design concept into built form is managed by applying thorough project documentation with rigorous attention to detail. Throughout this process, we merge our design sensibilities with each client’s unique style and specific project needs. Ultimately we understand that the design process is an art form, driven by client needs, that requires creativity paired with clear communication and practical execution.

The truest success of a project is blending a client's personality and lifestyle with a great design concept that meets your desired budget; whether the goal is to simply remodel by incorporating color, texture and existing pieces for an "updated" look, or for a major structural remodel. I bring 35 years of experience in the interior design field to every project. From a small residential makeover to a 15,000 square foot home I creatively manage each project from its beginning until its completion. My design expertise encompasses the entire residence with a focus on kitchens and baths. Budgeting for your remodel is very important. I can help you with that and make sure you stay within that budget. From designing, space planning, electrical layout, and shopping for granite, tile, floor covering, fabrics, fixtures, appliances and furniture, I would like to be on your next design project. I would love to work with you on your next project!

Deeply inspired by the contemporary, vernacular architecture of his South American childhood, Juan Felipe’s goal is to create an architecture that transforms space while maintaining its integrity with the environment. Interested in design that outlasts momentary trends, he strives to create environments that nurture and elevate while carefully meeting the needs of his clients. Integration of natural materials with the best in structural design is also primary. Juan Felipe Goldstein Design Inc. has been featured in the Colombian design magazine Revista AXXIS and Revista Habitar 2002 and 2004, the catalogue of the Architecture Biennial published by the Colombian Society of Architects. Other credits include a feature on the Neunsigner Residence published in House Beautiful, and the books Decorate 2011 and Shabby Chic Interiors published by Cico Books.
