“I have purchased window treatments from Added Touch several times and the experience was eye opening. Not only did I get a great price, but they gave me something I just could not get anywhere else that I looked, Honest reputable old fashioned service. I could not believe how much they knew about all types of window treatments. They carried what appeared to be a very wide selection from a number of different companies and they answered all my questions. They even came to my home with samples, measured my windows to make sure everything would fit properly and that was all free of charge. When my window treatments arrived they sent an installer to my home and he installed everything perfectly. As long as I live anywhere in Upstate New York I will always buy my window treatments at Added Touch 1 Genesee St New Hartford, NY”

“Our house had just been renovated and the old blinds (and now dirty and broken) needed to be replaced quickly for an event at the home. We met the wife of the owner, Paul who was helpful in helping choose the type of window treatment we wanted. Paul came to the home to sample books to help to measure and choose the color and fabrics for the blinds. Very personable.”

“Best fabric choices. Great customer service. I ordered the panel design with a new fabric choice. Upon receipt I noticed the top edge was a bit frayed looking due to the woven quality of the fabric. I was worried that over time it actually would fray. I suggested to the Shade Store that they hem the top for a more polished look. They tried the idea, liked it, and sent me a new set! They also connected me up with a great measurer/installer. They were also very flexible when I realized I should have ordered a four panel system. The did an even exchange! Sent me a return shipping label. So while it was a bumpy start it all worked out and my room looks lovely.”

“Yumi came highly recommended through a designer. Custom window treatments are an investment, and Yumi was my spiritual guide. Yes, she is knowledgeable, professional, prompt, thorough and responsive. And she will remind you to consider stuff you hadn't thought through, like how the shades will look from the outside, or how often you have to clean drapes. Two thumbs up.”

However, their additional services work well for sourcing out fabric and trims for window treatments and more. In trying to find a particular fabric in a colorway that worked with my client's aesthetic, the design staff at Wallauer's provided the source, the samples, and the installation necessary to complete my kitchen project. The fixed, relaxed roman blind with simple beaded trim and the Hunter Douglas blinds provided the finishing touches needed for my Modern Cottage kitchen design.”
