“Maureen has sewn, installed window treatments though out our home. Every window is different and challenging. Most of the windows are picture windows and some are odd shaped. We described what look we wanted and she took it from there. Nothing was difficult for her. Everything she made for us was done in a timely matter. Maureen is extremely professional and loves her work and it shows in every aspect. She also made pillows of all shapes and sizes for our bedrooms and family room. I highly recommend Maureen. “When we moved into our new home, we didn't have any window treatments and reached out to Barbara for a free home consultation. I had a general idea of what I was looking for. She listened but then really offered value by brining her professional experience and a fantastic view point with suggestions to get us the results were were looking for. We selected beautiful woven wood shades for a set of windows in both our dining and family room area. Once they were installed, we reached back out to Barbara for some help with the full doors going out to the patio. It was a bit tricky, but she recommended we go with the same shade but do a vertical style. I hadn't seen this before so was unsure, but I went with her recommendation. It was installed and wow it's beautiful. We love it. We'll have other projects as we get more settled in and will definitely plan to reach out to work with Shades on Wheels and Barbara again without hesitation.”

“Not only do you get great service and advice on paint-related products and supplies, if you want to find wallpaper, this is the only place that you will have to visit. Pack a lunch because you will be there for hours! The selection is astounding and you are able to borrow books which makes it easier. We ordered wallpaper from England and the ladies at FP&D kept us updated on the arrival date. When it comes to deciding on the window treatments and fabrics, Janet and Laura are well versed and extremely patient. We were able to borrow countless books of fabrics and settled upon the perfect fabrics to make a shower curtain, a valance, and Roman Shades. “When you meet Jan, you encounter a woman with creative talent, warmth, experience, sincerity, poise, professionalism, gentleness, kindness, confidence, and honesty. She has experience, wisdom, and patience. I contacted her for custom window treatments for my historical kitchen and dining room after being disappointed and frustrated having perused through many, many fabrics and consultants and I did not love any of the selections. They all would look decent in the space, but I didn’t love them. I had contacted one consultant because I loved her samples on Houzz and she told me she needed to update them, my tastes were “dated,” and didn’t want to work with me because it sounded like I needed too much say in the process! I started to feel like I would never be able to make a decision. I was upfront with Jan telling her that I had been through many fabric samples and a few consultants over a course of 2 years. Jan helped me to understand that I wasn’t too picky and that fabric is like art. What is beautiful to one person, may not be beautiful to another. It is a matter of what is appealing to you. She also confidently advised that she would not be party to a bad decision. She was there to help not create problems. I felt very confident moving forward. I sent Jan some pictures of my ideas for the spaces. Immediately she got a sense of the look and feel I wanted for the spaces. Jan brought large fabric samples and style samples to my home and helped me select fabrics that I truly loved. I did not feel rushed or overwhelmed as I did in other situations. Within a 30-minute window, I had made a selection of 3! She made it so easy and I enjoyed the process! She ordered large samples of my 3 top choices and hung them up for me to live with for a week or so. I felt confident in my selections, and I truly loved the choices I made. She helped me with the liner choices and truly customized the treatments to the look I was trying to achieve. They are so beautiful and beyond my expectations. I have gotten many compliments on the treatments. Over a year has gone by and I still walk into my spaces and notice my window treatments and I adore them. They look exactly the same as the day they were installed. She hires an A+ installer. He was so kind, efficient, professional and I could tell they had a wonderful, long time, professional relationship. Not only did Jan help me select such beautiful fabric in such a short amount of time, but she created such beautiful pieces. She also gave me the confidence to move forward on other projects. “Our mother needed to replace the vertical blinds for a very large sliding door in her den, we called Budget Blinds of Cape Cod spoke with Stephen to schedule an appointment with one of their sales rep. The sales rep Dave showed up on time and was very courteous and professional, his no hassle approach was comforting by asking us what we needed and expected.
