Our client has a wonderful 1940's home in South Minneapolis. While the home has lots of charm, the tiny main level bathroom was in need of a remodel. We removed the tub/shower and created a curb-less shower to remove as many visual barriers as possible. We created a custom vanity that was more shallow than average in order to maximize the walking space within the bathroom. A simple glass panel from floor to ceiling keeps the water in the shower. The tile backsplash from the vanity area runs all the way around the bathroom as an added detail and also allowed us to have protection from the water at the vanity without taking up precious countertop space. Bathrooms come in different sizes and even compact bathroom remodeling is in many times necessary. This specific bathroom is part of a full home remodeling project but created a spacious room with the use of white subway tile, white vanity and cabinets and a splash of gold for contrast. This compact bathroom features a tub and shower combo to allow for extra space and an organized layout.

The two tones of the sea glass 3x9 tile, sky and dusk, contrast beautifully in this newly renovated bathroom. Our team created a niche with the Bianco Carrara Basket weave tile, which not only ties in the newly installed tile floor, but provides accessible storage for the client.

This shower features a fold down bench that has a comfortably padded seat. The base is a barrier-free base with a detachable ramp made from a solid surface material (The Onyx Collection.) The water controls were moved the the soap wall to make it easier for the homeowner to bathe herself. The two grab bars and handheld were placed exactly where she needs them.

This Del Cerro bathroom remodel is a perfect example of how materials and textures can be layered to give a truly custom look to a space. Granite countertops, small stone tiles, and various glass tiles are featured throughout this bathroom with shower area being the true star of space. The walls feature neutral porcelain tile with an impressive dark grey glass tile accent. The end result is bold and perfectly suited to this client's taste.
